Ninamori is Naota's classmate and the daughter of the mayor of Mabase, she is also the class president and isn't above breaking the rules to get what she wants. Ninamori projects a proper, slightly stuck-up personality and conceals personal information. She also dislikes Mamimi and has NO powers of her own after Naota collides into her head.

FLCL (along with "Neon Genesis Evangelion and The End of Evangelion") is THEE BEST, not just anime, but one of the best and coolest things that's ever been created, here, there or otherwise anywhere!! ...The ONLY anime or "thing" that can come close to FLCL is Evangelion, AND... it really matters not since BOTH shows were done by the SAME GROUP OF GUYS!!! -Kazuya Tsurumaki and Hideaki Anno being the top two!!  Along with Masayuki, Yoshimori Sadamoto  - who designed THE CHARACTERS FOR BOTH anime's, along with some other fine staff at GAINAX production co. and TV TOKYO!!

Wait, wait!! ...They're RE-RELEASING "FOOLY COOLY"?!?!  In America or what?! Is it the same Co. who released the Dvd's before?? ...See, I have A SINGLE VOLUME "FLCL" dvd entitled: "The Perfect Collection", which it DOES have all 6 episodes, however, it's FAR from "perfect". For one, it doesn't really contain any credits or liner notes... it only gives a description of the 2nd ep., and you can tell that it's not really an OFFICIAL release dvd... however, it LOOKS super-official and like it was released by a real company... you' dnever know it wasn't if it's not.

So when and who's releasing the new version of "FLCL"?!?

Naota Nandaba

First Appearance: Episode 1 (Fooly Cooly)

Portrayed By: Barbara Goodson

Naota is a very mature, level headed 12 year old boy who lives in the "boring" town of Mabase. He's tries To be nonchalant, but finds difficulty in doing so because of all the strange events that happen. He tries To model himself after his brother, but still doesn't like being compared To him. He hates any thing spicy or sour.

At the start of the series, he lived a normal life and had what seemed like a girlfriend: his brother's ex Mamimi. However things soon changed very drastically when Haruko Haruhara came To Mabase. She ran Naota over and then hit him in the head with her bass. From then his life changed permanently. He had the "right kind of head", which turned out To mean that he had enough "N.O." To channel certain items across galaxies in an instant. This usually took form of a "Medical Mechanica Robot" coming through and wreaking havoc. Some of these medical mechanica were the size of large buildings, and they came right from his head.

After a robot comes through his head, it's usually up To Haruko To stop them. And, after the first episode, one of the robots, named Canti, could "swallow" Naota so Naota can help in the battle. It's revealed that the power that Naota has in Canti is directly from Atomsk, and space pirate with enough N.O. To transport entire galaxies. And Haruko wants his power.

Throughout the series: Naota falls for Haruko, Naota helps defeat the medical machanica, Naota gains atomsks power and Haruko tries To gain it, Atomsk is released, and Haruko leaves Naota behind.

Pretty good. However, she does not wear contacts. She makes Naota believe that she needs glasses, but at the end of the Puss in Boots episode, Nina reveals that they glasses are fake. I guess just to show that although the episode seemed to be revealing of Nina, it actually made her even more mysterious in the end.

I would say that Naota is attempting to be more mature than he really is. He feels like he needs to take care of the adults around him, but in the end, he is just a kid. 

He does not want to be like his brother. He does not expect to be anything close to that perfect, because he does thing his brother is perfect.

(I don't know if you have Haruhara Haruko or not so I am just going to give it a try) 

Haruhara Haruko(ハルハラ・ハル子) 

Age: Supposedly 19

Voice Actor: Kari Wahlgren

Character: Haruhara Haruko is a very energetic character. She has pink hair and is from outer space. She is also and investigator for the Galactic Space Patrol Brotherhood/Stellar Fraternity. She is violent, unpredictable, and very hyper. She acts friendly and random but it is only a "mask" to hide her true nature. Her actual goal is to take Atomsk's power. She tries to get Naota to help her, but in the end it backfires. In the, the boy has deep feelings for Haruko and ends up kissing her. They then go their separate ways.
