it is realy a coming of age story and each ep. is a different step with each one looking a something different like steping upto changles in the swing the bat ep. and love witch is a running theme .  try looking at them like you look at shakespeace in class and the story is realy good and if your a movie fan you find lots of reaferences to other flims

FLCL seems to be aired more as a mini-marathon than anything else owing to it's six episode nature.

I would also recomend buying it, it isn't very expensive, and that way you needn't suffer [as]'s fickle schedule.
