I still dont own FLCL

Basically, I'm in the UK and don't own the show yet. I'm not sure which to get.

I could get the UK release, which is only DVD. I can play it on my PS3 since it's Region 2, but for the price, I might as well import the US BD.

However, the US BD is Region A, while the UK is Region B. Also, I have heard about it being a bad upscale.

So, my query is, how do you think the FLCL Bluray looks? I'm usually not a huge fan of upscales, but if the picture quality is good, I will consider it..

I saw screenshots at Mania (Or was it the Fandom Post?), and the Blu-Ray had blurred lines. Not sure how good it looks when it's not paused though. I'd say to go with the DVD if you find the BD not to be worth it, especially since you know it being in region A and not B.

Yeah, I saw those posts too. People said that the DVD's look as good as the BDs when they're upscaled, so I'll just wait for a cheap UK release.

I've heard it's fairly good for a show not made in HD. I may just get the DVD, since Blu-rays are more a luxury for me.

Well, I see your biggest problem there.

You're playing from the PS3 Blu-Ray drive.

The PS3 is actually one of the best Blu-ray players out there, or at least it was for a long time.
