So , Why the new folder ???

Yeah I saw a welcome thread but that doesn't answer my question .

I looked in the AD folder and didn't see anything .

So why is there an FLCL folder now ?

Was there a vote thread that I missed somewhere or something ?

Yes, there was a monthly vote to determine which anime show should get it's own folder and be cycled into the rotation. FLCL won, and hence, this folder.
Anime I'm watching: Eureka Seven AO, Mysterious Girlfriend X

The monthly polls are located in the General Comedy Discussion and General Action Discussion folders respetively.

The winner gets a folder, or switched back on if it's currently off board.

Each month all the show folders are cycled.

Anything that is going to air on the block that month is left on.

Anything currently in production and/or mandated by WS to stay is left on.

Anything that gets a decent level of traffic is left on.

Anything that cycles off air and isn't getting enough traffic gets turned off for awhile until voted back on again, or until it comes back on the air.

A lot of anime shows licenses of lapsed, so the only real way for them to remain on is if enough people keep posting in them, and if they cycle off, the only way for them to get back on the board is by user vote in the monthly poll in General Action Discussion.
