The Pillows... OH YEAH!

I think there may be other threads in music etc., but considering I just noticed this FLCL section I thought I would make a new one... If it's not needed then a mod can delete it...

 

Anyway, what are your favorite songs (from the show and not) by the pillows? Also, has anyone seen them live? :smileywink: I feel like bragging a bit since it was awesome, but I did, and got a picture with Shin (drummer) but missed the rest... :smileymad: Besides saying hi to them when they walked in the venue... Here's the picture and a song from their stop in NY (I saw them in Austin).

 

To answer my own questions, I suppose I'll just list a few favorites... :smileyvery-happy: Biscuit hammer, Babylon Tenshi No Uta, No Self Control, Thank you my twilight, happy bivouac, nonfiction, strange chameleon, she's perfect, subhuman, gazelle city, and so on... Honestly there's at least 70 songs that I like almost equally by them lol...

Blues Drive Monster, Hybrid Rainbow, and Carnival are my favs from the show. But Flame is probably my favorite overall.

Well, it says (what I found on youtube) that it's a cover of Hide or something... The thing is it sounds nothing like the pillows and it's not on the confirmed cover list from here... I'm not 100% sure if it isn't them but I'm more like... 99.9% sure... :smileyindifferent:

Well here's another video of them live from this year... It's ROSS and Last Dinosaur :smileyhappy: They're so fun to see live, it doesn't matter what they play... As far as stuff outside the show, I love way too many to list all the ones I would reccommend, but here's a few...

I saw them live in NY a few years ago at the Knitting Factory; wouldn't have known about it if not for an ASMB post. So glad I went. Penalty Life and My Foot are solid albums in general, those are the two I've managed to get my hands on other than the FLCL soundtracks at this point

OH YEAH! :smileyvery-happy: I can play the rhythm for Little busters, don't know the solo... I don't know crazy sunshine either... I know random riffs etc. of a lot of songs, and I can play ROSS and Hybrid Rainbow all the way through (both guitars).
