Once upon a time in a land far away, a beautiful, independent, self-assured princess happened upon a frog as she sat contemplating ecological issues on the shores of an unpolluted pond in a verdant meadow near her castle.

The frog hopped into the princess' lap and said: Elegant Lady, I was once a handsome prince, until an evil witch cast a spell upon me. One kiss from you, however, and I will turn back into the dapper young prince that I am, and then, my sweet, we can marry and set up housekeeping in your castle with my mother, where you can prepare my meals, clean my clothes, bear my children, and feel forever grateful doing so.

That night, as the princess dined sumptuously on a repast of lightly sautéed frogs legs seasoned in a wine and onion cream sauce she chuckled to herself and thought: I don't f*cking think so..

Offensive? The only thing I found offensive about Freaknik was that the soundtrack wasn't available on iTunes after the show was over.

Seriously? There are people who found THAT offensive? Freaknik is no more offensive than any other comedy where the comedian is poking fun at reality. Somewhere out there in the real world there probably IS an Obama-niqua, bouge finger snapping rappers,  captain 'save them hoes' trying to rescue strippers, etc. The whole thing was nothing more than a true parody of reality. The only areas where they started to get somewhat "questionable" was with the boule - but it was comedy and they made for an entertaining set of villains.

There is stuff on Adult Swim that could be considered far more offensive like Squidbillies or Boondocks. If a person was unable to separate THAT from something that should be offensive, there is really something wrong with society as a whole. The show didn't promote anything any more than "pants on the ground" encouraged people to start wearing jeans 8 sizes too large.

I've been back and forth over this for a while...ever since I saw it last week.  I'm 50/50 on it.  I thought it was funny as hell, but I just found it....interesting....that a predominately white network in the South would bleep out everything but the words "ni***s" and "bi****s".  Having worked in Standards and Practices for a Viacom network, I know a conscious decision was made to do that, and it's a little disappointing.  On the whole....it really was funny as hell.  I liked it.  I might even pick it up on DVD.  It just made my skin crawl every time I heard those two words.  And I'm no uptight Puritan....my sn is Ol Yella Bastid, for fuuuuuudge's sake.  And I don't even have a problem with it when Aaron Magruder uses it in Boondocks....it's just....this special just felt wrong.  Sorry....I know a lot of talent went into it, but if you air it again you should really think about removing those words.

^ Forreal.

I also didn't like how ugly those strippers were drawn. Everything else was kewl.

Moral Orel is offensive to Christians isn't it? Because it makes them all look crazy & illogical, but we all of course know better than to think that every Christian thinks such a way. Riiight?

Aight then.

Yes the show was offensive. It catered to every negative stereotype about black people. Also it wasn't funny. The animation was cheap and the plot **blarney**. T-Pain is a fool. I can't believe he actually thought this **blarney** was good. He never went to freaknic and the show proves it. He makes money by disrespecting his own people and endorsing stereotypes.

I though that it was offensive and disgusting.

By disgusting I am talking about the general animation as well as what was done. It made me cring at how they exgerated motions such as when they were drinking the soda in the beginning. also the proportioning of people and the style was very offensive to me, it was nasty in my opinion it wasn't visual appealing at all.

Now for Offensive this show was advertising drugs and alcohol and a lot of things that are definitly not good. I think that shows should never try to show a 'positive'  side of being a ganster or ghetto because serious from the sterotypical views such suggested in this show there is nothing good from it.

I really hated it, it was horrible but I had to watch it so I could critize it, I never like to talk down things until I know about it.

Don't call me racist, It's not about that. I think it was nasty, when people ask me about it my first thing is nasty. It was just digusting to look at and the things they talked about really didn't need to be talked about like doing drugs and drinking and being pimps and hoes.. It's morally wrong and this generation of people need to get a reality check. Don't think I'm old talking this **derp** down either.. I am 17 years old.

No more offensive than Squidbillies was to Southerners or ATHF was to people in New Jersey.. its satire, and absurdist comedy we all know people like the various mutants portrayed in the shows.. it is not saying that is all you will find in that given community.

If anything its pointing them out and decrying their wanton stupidity, be it Early Cuyler completely ignoring his child and being "wild" as so many white trash parents are down south in our very own chalky ghettos, I know.. I lived amongst these animals and fled as soon as I could, or Carl "working out of the home" mooching off of the government, just as Early does..

In Freakniks case it tells young Black men NOT to persue the activities of the characters portrayed, while trying to give some positive advice.. even if it comes from the very losers its telling you not to emulate, "Trap **derp**" was the best example, speaking about determination and perseverance when working towards a goal, a degree.. promotion etc.. or in the case of our idiots, getting to a magical rap battle they will never win while demonstrating the kind of sociopaths that thrive and love "street" culture so dearly as his cohorts whom worship him actively beg to kill our misguided band of idiots, whom cannot pay an electricity bill, nor drive cross country without nearly dying repeatedly.. and you get to laugh the entire time, unless you have a stick jammed up your **derp**, I am from the south and I laugh at Squidbillies, because a lot of the unbelievable **derp**, that makes you laugh at the impossibility of it REALLY happens down here in the white ghettos out in yon forest or mountain community.

My view on it..
