Future of Freaknik

I think overall the show surpassed the expectations of people who actually watched it and noticed a detailed plot think the trailers didn't give the musical justice, but  I think this show can have a future(as long as T-Pain is still in charge)

I'm wondering if you guys think Freaking will ever turn into a series like it was supposed to with the "crooked'skip" thing, or at least [AS] will start selling some merchandise. The character Freaknik himself was very appealing, and I would love to wear him on a shirt. Let's not forget the music being marketable.

If we don't get any, how about a sequel, yea?

I think this was all just meant to be a special. And it did that pretty much perfectly, IMO.

I want this on DVD.

I want this soundtrack.

I want this to play once a year at the very least.

I want a shirt.

I WANT A PLUSH FREAKNIK TOY

I WANT A LIMITED THEATRICAL RUN PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE EXTENDED VERSION IN THEATERS COME ON WILLIAMS STREET DO IT DO IT DO IT I'LL GO TO EVERY SHOWING

A sequel, I don't want unless they do it perfectly. I have a fear that a sequel would just ruin the whole thing. And a show, I don't honestly see how they could pull off a series unless they gave it the Metalocalypse treatment-- half-hour episodes and every one ended just as or more awesomely as the last. But I don't think it could work all that well.

I think Freaknik was pulled off extraordinarily well and that anything more might be just pushing it.

But we'll see, I guess.

I just want to own it and own all that other stuff I said up there.

And if they never sell a plush Freaknik, I'll pay someone good money to make me one!

Vinyl Freaknik toys would be pretty hot too. I'd love a big ol' vinyl Freaknik adorning my mantle...

Freaknik will be around i would think. but its more then T-pain its the whole cast of people that make freaknik so great. Im waiting on the older black folks to start **pOp** like they did with music of today.

I agree with many of you here.

Honestly, I got a headache from laughing sooooo much.  In my case, I can easily relate to some parts of the show and maybe thats why it was so funny to me.

Having them make an actual show out of this can be a bit tricky but I definitely enjoyed watching it very much.

As for the Freaknik shirt, hopefully they do make them and sell them for the public.  I will surely get one for myself.

I'm open to the idea of a sequel, but I think a long-running series would get tired after a while. There's only so much the writers and talent can do creatively with the ghost of a music festival and any sequel would have to address those other funky alien things and Freaknik's return from space. I'd rather see Freaknik have this one good special than see it get watered down and drawn out to where it's no longer entertaining.

I hope to GOD there is no sequel, and even more so, I hope there is no series. Freaknik was amazing as what it was: an hour long musical made by rappers who know how to have fun with what they do. There is no way a series could live up to that. The real question on my mind for the future of Freaknik is when can a brother get a black shirt with dollar signs and Freaknik's chain hanging down on it? When can a brother get a soundtrack? A DVD? Get on it [as]! Also, **blarney** calling racism in other threads.
