there's been some that i can listen to. some i've even liked.
its more the "culture" that pisses me off. the ignorant and arrogant people that tend to follow it.
(i dont even like calling it a culture. Culture is tradition that's passed down. Not a glorification of murder, money, greed, vanity, frivelousness, infidelity, promiscuity, and materialism.)
I realize that not all people buy into the crap. Some just like the music. And that's fine. But they aren't the majority.
And I see this Freaknik thing as only perpetuating the existing "rap culture." I mean, it's FULL of stereotypes that would have whites called racist. But because black people are part of it, its ok. I hate double standards -_-
