When the Xtacles first premiered, Adult Swim put a bump before it asking "frisky Dingo, or the Xtacles. You tell us." I'm not saying that's verbatim, becauase its not. But it was something similar.
Well, this was when nobody was sure if a Frisky Dingo Season 3 was still in the cards. Anyway, Xtacles was a far cry from Dingo. Thinkng that AS was going to replace a third season of dingo with xtacles was somewhat infuriating. Doing as AS asked after the premiere, I expressed my opinion, opting for Dingo, and hating on xtacles. Now, quite some time later, after many many repeat viewings of the 2 episodes of the xtacles, I realize we've all missed out on an entire season of potential hilarity.
Xtacles was a frisky dingo themed Sealab 2021 show, which was pretty awesome. Unfortunately it never got the run it deserved, and I think this was in part due to AS not being completely honest. I'm glad Matt is working with Adam on Archer, but looking back, I wish Matt got to finish at least one season of Xtacles.
So, to everyone who ever worked on The Xtacles, I'm sorry. It was actually a pretty **grok** funny show. Well done! and It was nice to hear Rachael Harris appear on Archer.
