I don't understand why. The series is almost over in Japan. They should at least make it tri-monthly, but waiting 6 months? That's brutal.

yeah, they slowed down their production a great deal because they almost caught up. still, though...at this rate, the manga might be over in Japan by the time 23 comes out stateside.

I haven't revived a dead thread in ages. Anyway, Volume 27 recently came out. So if anybody knows me, they know that I have been adamently against reading the fma manga via scanlations, so though I have firmly been behind much of the fold, with this release, I have finally finished FMA.  It's been a wild ride and an enjoyable the entire way. Now, to finish Brotherhood....
