There's no wiki, where's the FMA love? This thred will be for working on the FMA: Brotherhood wiki. The two series start to differ in details quite a bit so it's probably best to have two different wikis. Some characters will overlap and be pretty much the same, but if details of the series are also included, it's probably best to keep it to two separate wikis. If talking about characters isn't your thing, you could do episode synopsis. Just give the title and number of the episode, followed by a brief explanation of what happens in the episode - with marked spoilers if need be. You can work on whoever you like or add information to a character that's already completed. You can also just edit information gramatically if that's your thing. Heck you can just find suitable pictures for the characters to go with the profiles. Maybe make something that's a 100x100 square? That way it's consitent, not too large, and not too small. Just go ahead and link them and I'll get someone to edit them into the list... one of our handy helpers.
Characters needing info... they're just bunched in groups based on... what groupings make sense for me at the moment. o.O

Format:
Character Name
Voice Actor:
Alias/Nickname:
Age:
Species:
Relationships:
Job:
Abilities:
First Appearance:
Bio:
If you don't know a piece of information, still list the heading, just put -- in the space after. That way people will know it needs to be added.
Be sure to mark any spoilers. Make the character entried basic so that new fans of the show won't be spoiled.
If you've got suggestions, share them. This isn't my show, it's a community project.
Summary:
The two series will be treated separately, this is for Brotherhood.
You can work on characters, episodes, or any information you feel should be included in a wiki
You can submit information, find pictures for bios, edit entries for grammar/syntax, or anything else you'd like. It doesn't have to be information dumping.
Make sure to mark spoilers, this if for new and old fans.
If you want to gather character pictures, make them 100x100 so they are consitent and a good size.
I'll be keeping the list of characters worked on so far in the 9th post. Yeah, it's weird, but I can't help it. I'd prefer it to be the second post or something, but I don't think post order can be moved.

I, as well as many others I am sure, can help with this.
I do have one question thought. What about spoilers? Just general information(like what a character is like) or should we also put what happens to each character by the time the series ends?
"Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is Alchemy's first law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only, truth." -Alphonse Elric, Fullmetal Alchemist (1st series)

So maybe a format for these could be something like this...
Edward Elric
Alias: The Fullmetal Alchemist Age: 16 Species: Human [this should be fun for the pets >_>] Relationships: Alphonse Elric [brother] Trisha Elic [mother] Van Hohenheim [father] Job: State Alchemist [could include rank here for people like Mustang, etc] Abilities: Alchemy [special note: without a transmutation circle] First Appearance: Episode 1 Brief Bio: short summary of the character, doesn't need to go into super detail about everything they have done, if there's a detail you feel must be included and is a spoiler... use a spoiler tag please
I think the character information should be kept pretty basic. Huge events concerning the characters or story should be left out because there will always be new people to the series. If you do want to add spoilers to the bio or any part of the information for the character, like you feel it NEEDS to be there, can be marked with the spoiler button.
Like, if you were making the entry for Pride you could give all the general information about him. When you give his identity, though, put it in a spoiler tag. Or if you wanted to add something about a character death, do so in a spoiler tag.
I'm probably gonna go through and just go with the format I used to add a lot of basic information. Figure that stuff is pretty simple and can be added easily. The brief bio part will be added as people write it or as I do... or whatever.

Okay let me try one here.
Basque Grand
Voice Actor: R. Bruce Elliott
Alias: The Iron Blood Alchemist
Age: ?
Species: Human
Relationships: ?
Job: State Alchemist. Rank of Brigadier General
Abilities: Alchemy and hand-to-hand combat
First Appearance: Episode 4
Bio: Brigadier General Basque Grand is a high ranking state alchemist in the military. He is a very rough and cruel man. He has no sympathy toward his enemies and carries out his orders without regret. However he never looks happy and does not seem to enjoy the killing as much as Kimblee would. He just does not care about his enemies. He is a master at hand-to-hand combat and has a form of alchemy that can generate metallic objects such as spears and spikes to throw at enemies in one big wave. He is best known for his role in the Ishval War where he did not hold back any of his powers or ruthlessness on the people of Ishval.

He is best known for his role in the Ishval War where he did not hold back any of his powers or ruthlessness on the people of Ishval.
Abilities: Martial arts, sensing the aura of humans and Homunculi
First Appearance: Episode 15
Bio: Ling is the twelfth crown prince of the eastern nation of Xing and the liege of the Yao clan. Seeking a way to ensure his path to the throne amidst deadly inter-house competition, Ling has ventured from Xing to Amestris in order to divine the secret of immortality - the Philosopher's Stone.
Bio: Comanche is known as the SIlver Alchemist. Probably because his alchemy generates blades and shurikens to use against his opponents. In appearance he looks like an old short man and he has a big white moustache. He was also one of the state alchemists sent to Ishval during the war. In the war his left leg was injured badly and when we see him fighting later in the series he has a peg leg instead of his left leg. He also seems to enjoy battle and thinks of himself highly as a skilled alchemist. When he fought Scar he applauded Scar's bravery for engaging him in battle. One other important note is that the Silver Alchemist, much like Kimblee, has transmutation circles tattooed on the palms of his hand.
Bio: Kimblee is an alchemist that loves his job and his job is killing. Kimblee is strange and hard to figure out because he does love killing but he has a gentleman way of doing it and talking about it. He told Mustang and Hughes during the Ishval War that it was their job to kill and they knew what they were getting into when they put that uniform on. He has also said that you should never turn away when killing someone. Look at them and never forget them because they will never forget you. Kimblee also dresses and acts like a gentleman, wearing all white suits. Make no mistake however, as much of a gentleman that he is and no matter what philosophical rhetoric he says about killing, he still does enjoy his job. In the Ishavl War he killed many people and then turned and killed his own people when they tried to retrieve the Philosopher's Stone they gave to him. He was sent to prison because of that and was later released under orders of the Fuhrer. Kimblee's alchemy involves blowing things up. His transmutation circles are tattooed onto the palms of his hands. When he claps them together he can turn things into bombs. With the Philosopher's Stone during the Ishavl War, these explosions were huge and killed many at one time.
Bio: Isaac McDougal is a former state alchemist. He turned against the military and wanted to destroy Central with his alchemy. He tried to do so in the first episode but was eventually stopped. Not much is known about this person other than for some reason he decided the military and Central itself were evil and needed to be destroyed along with the Fuhrer. His alchemy deals with water. He can use water and control it, especially to freeze it. However contrary to his name, freezing water is not the only thing he can do. He can also use the water in your body to boil you alive and at one point he even uses his own blood(water in the blood) to form a spear and make a weapon out of it.
Bio: Shou Tucker is a smart alchemist that knows a lot about bio-alchemy, especially when it comes to chimeras. Tucker gained his state alchemist certificate by making a talking chimera. However the chimera soon died and he produced very little after that achievement. He has a nice house and many books to study with, which is why the Elrics go and see him for help with their own research. He also has a daughter named Nina and a dog named Alexander. However even with all this, Tucker's life is falling apart. He has deadlines to meet or he will lose his title as a state alchemist. Even though he tries to hide it from Nina this deadline causes him much grief and anguish while Ed and his brother are with him. He also told the Elrics his wife left him, further adding to his crumbling life.
Eventually Tucker makes another talking chimera. Ed quickly finds out that it is Nina combined with Alexander. It is then revealed that Tucker did the same thing to his wife two years ago. There is no way of changing Nina back so the Elrics can only leave Tucker in the military's hands. However Scar finds Tucker and the new chimera and kills them both. He kills the chimera out of pity and he kills Tucker because, well he deserved it.
Hughes is a good friend of Roy Mustang from when they started in the military and works in the Investigations office in Central. Not only is he a good friend of Mustang but he's also a valuable ally in helping him become Fuhrer. As an officier in the Investigations Office, he could supply Mustang with classified intelligence that could benefit him. He has also been assisting the Elric brothers in learning about the Philosopher's Stone. Not only does he gain respect from the Elrics but from their friend Winry Rockbell as well. He has shown to give them both hospitality and advice. Even though he's a good man, he could be annoying sometimes. Hughes have a habit of talking about his family and even provides pictures of them especially his daughter.
While doing some investigation for the Elrics, Hughes discovers that the homunculi's plans for the country and their control over the military. He is first attacked by Lust but manages to get away from her by throwing a knife in her forehead. He then trys to contact Mustang from an outside line but was stopped by Envy (disguised as Maria Ross) before he could talk to him. Still with his back faced to Envy he takes out a knife to prepare to throw it but turns to see that Envy now looks like his wife. Shocked, he is shoot in the chest by Envy and dies in the telephone booth. For dying in the line of duty, he was promoted two ranks to Brigadier General. His death is a major starting point in the story and affects different characters most noteably Mustang.
The voice actor should probably be included as well, huh? That might make it more informational. I just don't know where to throw that bit of information. After First Appearance? Under the name of the character?
The format isn't too important... I'm gonna edit characters into the list I have once people submit them... that way they are all together for now and people can see what needs added. I'll change the formatting if it's not the same as the rest. So if ya don't want to worry about coloring things, making things bold, and all that jazz, feel free to leave that to me.
Episode summaries wouldn't be a bad idea to do either, I'll work on some of those tomorrow maybe. Also with the formatting, just lemme know if you want pics or other certain fancy HTML things done that only I can do

Will do!
It'd probably just be adding pictures at this point. I think if there were fancy html involved, that could wait for a new thread that is all organized and such. Once the character bios are done [or once the majority of the information is there] I think a new thread to organize it and make it easier to get through would be good.
I'll work on another chunk of characters later tonight or tomorrow.

... a short paragraph, maybe just a few sentences, would suffice. Be sure to keep it general on the episode synopsis to not spoil the details of that episode. Obviously if people read about episodes they haven't read there will be spoilers, but we don't want spoilers specific to that episode.
Also, if you're feeling really ambitious, you could list the manga chapter(s) the episode corresponds with. Though that's like 10 zillion extra miles.
I will do some of the lesser known people if I can.
Giolio Comanche
Voice Actor: Charlie Campbell
Alias: The Silver Alchemist
Age: ? but we know he is old
Species: Human
