I would expect that too, especially if it were something I had no control over.

I agree on Flame vs. Fullmetal.  I love that episode.

One of my favorite scenes from that is at the end when Roy and Hughes are relaxing over drinks.  I just now realized that we see them still in the bar in this episode.

A good episode indeed, but a little slow and the fight could have had more of a definitvie winner, but still good.

Armstrong always cracked me up. There's something about a man who cries/goes shirtless at the slightest provocation and somehow attracts pink sparkelz and yet could tear an elephant in half with his bare hands...

I love the way Ed's arm is destroyed.  His facial expression was exquisite.   If anything that significant happened to me, I'd hope for the same expression.

My favorite part is Roy learning a valuable lesson from Riza about when fire doesn't work.
I don't know what's real from the noise, the noise.
I can't hear a thing for the noise, the noise.
I wouldn't do anything, the thunder that throws me away.
I wouldn't do anything, there's something that keeps me away.
I wouldn't do anything, something that begs me to stay.
I wouldn't do anything, something that throws me away.

It's odd that no one discussed tonight's episode.  Was it really that bad?

Well, his metal body is visible, whereas Ed's metal parts are hidden. We'd probably make the same mistake if we didn't know the whole situation.
