The whole point of the Ultimate Shield is that it is impossible to break. That was why Edward couldn't hurt him and Izumi couldn't either. Until with their alchemy, they took it away.

The whole point of the first Wrath vs Greed fight was that Wrath used his Ultimate Eye to see Greed's weakness. Greed can't heal and harden at the same time. So, Wrath attacked Greed before Greed had a chance to harden himself. Once Wrath first cut his arm off, it was over.

If Wrath could have bypassed his Ultimate Shield, he would have done so. Heck, even Wrath himself, the Ultimate Eye which is able to see everything, said that Greed has the impenetrable Ultimate Shield. Impenetrable means "impossible to break through".

And we did see Pride attack Greed's Ultimate Shield. He went for Greed's chin and Greed blocked it. That is all the proof you need.

So, do you think Greed's shield would break from constant attacks?

Didn't we answer with the Lust vs. Greed one?  I think she would be able to dent his armor over time. 

But that's different.  Pride's shadow tendrils or whatever you want to call them, they're not based on anything normal.  They're like magical shadows.  It's hard to judge just what they can or cannot do.  You're saying that we didn't see it in the show so it's impossible.  That's not good evidence because that type of argument can be turned around on you.

We saw what his shadows can do.

Pride's shadows broke through Hohenheim's barrier. Pride's shadows also broke through Edward's barrier. Greed himself says that a wall won't stop Pride.

Then Pride's shadows hit Greed's chin. Greed hardens and he is safe. Pride's shadows can't break Greed's Ultimate Shield.

And Lust won't break through Greed's shield. As soon as her spear makes contact with the shield, the universe explodes.

Again, you're basing everything on one instance.  Pride can combine his shadows to make that giant, chomping mouth thing.  Maybe that would work.  You can't prove that Pride can't do it.  You CAN prove that that one attack you mentioned failed.

One instance is all it takes. Pride's teeth would break.
