Adult Swim video games discussion

What games have you played that were related in some way to series on Adult Swim?

So far, I've tried a handful of Lupin the Third games, a Japanese release based on Detective Conan (aka Case Closed), and an Inu Yasha strategy/board game.  None of the Lupin games I've played have really stood out... Treasure of the Sorcerer King on the Playstation 2 has all the voices from Pioneer's English dub of the show, but the gameplay is kind of clumsy... it's stealth action without the teeth or the strong design of the Metal Gear Solid series.  Cliff Hanger is probably the most faithful of the Lupin games, because it's footage from the movie Castle of Cagliostro, spliced into a laserdisc game similar to Dragon's Lair and Space Ace.  That makes it a lot of fun to WATCH, but not necessarily much fun to play.  As with the case of most laserdisc games, there's little interactivity... you press the joystick in the directions you think are most likely to save Lupin, and he reacts accordingly.

The Detective Conan game, released in Japan on the Game Boy Advance, has some promise.  It's faithful to the show, right down to Conan's ability to charge up his sneakers and kick debris at his foes.  From what I've seen so far, he spends a lot of time in the game sneaking through overhead view mazes and past mechanical foes.  Occasionally, he'll be able to battle large robot bosses, but for the most part, it's just a lot of platform jumping and slipping through security systems.  The most memorable part of the game is its unique interpretation of the show's slogan, "One truth prevails."  According to the game, that slogan is really "The truth can be only one!"

Finally, there's the Inu Yasha board game, also for Game Boy Advance.  I'm not sure what to make of this... it looks like it could be a knock-off of Culdcept, a combination RPG/board game that's extremely popular in Japan.  I haven't played enough of it to know for sure, but I do know that I like the isometric graphics and the artwork taken straight from the show.

Those games sound pretty craptacular. I first heard about Inuyasha from the PS1 game. I honestly thought Inu was a chick. When I watched the show, it scared me that he had such a manly voice. Theres another Inu game coming out, an RPG for the PS2. Theres also a Trigun game, and a game based on the new Ghost in the Shell (it looks awesome). The coup-de-grace is of course the Bebop game. If anyone's been keeping up with gaming lately, licenced games have been awesome, and I hope to the anime gods that the same hols true for Bebop.

I have played the Inuyasha GBA game. I have a website about it if you want: http://www.geocities.com/narakunowana/index.html

This game is very repetitive, and you  have to play it more than once to unlock certain characters.

The Lupin III game looked like Metal Gear Solid clone. I have the Inuyasha for the PS1, and it's too easy.

The Inuyasha ps1 game (Feudal Fairy Tale) is pretty subpar, but a few redeeming qualities for a fan of the show are the original seiyuu (sp?) voices, not the english ones.  And the humourous reasons which different characters find to fight each other.
