I love to watch Case Closed, but one thing that I could do without is that lame theme song, which I dont think has any relevance to the shows. Am I the only one that thinks this?

the opening theme deffinetly needs some work. every night ive sat there and told myslef how much i f****** hate that song! but ive heard in the japanese version that the opening song is really good.

I have never heard the Japanese version of the theme song,  but I am sure it is probably way better than the one we have to listen to everytime we watch Case Closed. I honestly think that they should scrap that lame song!!

I think adult swim has changed the song into other songs cuz when I went to a few Conan fan sites, most of their music (Opened and Ended Conan song) are different.. like Secret of My Heart, Always, Truth... and tons more..

AS didn't change it, Crap Funimation are the ones who changed it (Along with many of the names)

I have heard both versions of the song and the english IMO is better than the japanese version, btw it is practically the same song. If you want to compair the two versions goto http://asfdotcom.net/ and download the video, it has both tracks on it.

btw Funimation didn't want to change the names it was TMS who forced them to do so, look at yuyu hakusho they kept the names intact.

I think it has to do with copyrights, or something like that. The show name, and alot of the charecter names are changed. I agree, the theme song is lame. What is it "It was the thirteenth century...". How lame is that. And they often dont play the last line, which makes it sound wierd,

I wonder if adult swim could actually do something to change the theme song, 'cause it really is annoying. But it all depends with copyright laws.

Copyright laws.... jeeze, I wish the Funimation.. company or watever it name was kept everything unchanged in the Japanese version, except the language.. that would be nice...

'Mune ga Dokidoki' is a lot better although the voice of the guy singing it sounds a little strange. It's the same tune as the English one but obviously longer and with different but similar lyrics.. in Japanese, of course. I think you can get it off the internet somewhere.

The only time I heard the complete theme song was during the first episode! After that...

"It was the first new century...in one hundred years...and when..."

That's it! Nothing more! Even then, it would be chopped up into bits and pieces! Drives me crazy...but the show makes up for it...

Random Question: Isn't the song stating the obvious? Every hundred years is a new century!

i admit, i used to hate the case closed theme song, but then i downloaded the video for the entire song, both english and japanese and after getting used to it, ve found it to be a good song. (at least in my opinion...)

uhh thanks... i m actually not really a newbie. i just got this username today cuz i was bored. and it gives me another goal to reach superstar. my other username is "Vash1927" and ive been a user since june 14th 2003.
