true.  She might end up having to fight Dominic.  Then the real fight will begin.:smileyindifferent:  Will she side with Dewey,  Will she follow her love and be with Dominic, OR will she end it all and kill everyone.

I should note that since they've arrived on Earth, we've seen a lot of things we first saw in Acperience 1.

First, there were the pillars in the distance from a beach setting. Then the butterfly, which relates to Eureka and her wings. Now, the reappearance of Diane.

I don't think this is all coincidence.

The toliet was a reference to Trainspotting, the main character of which Renton is named after :smileytongue: That's a seperate reference, so I don't think we'll be seeing more of it.

Wheeeee, things are getting exciting again. :smileyhappy:

Okay, so over on bizarro Earth, Renton spends the night all feverish and mostly conked out, and Eureka... turns into a butterfly. At least partly. So... that's a hell of a thing. :smileyvery-happy: And she does her "zomg I'm different don't look at meeeee" thing again, until Renton pulls a Norbu and tells her that it's beautiful. And then they're AWWWWWWW. And overnight a big storm goes through and a mountain of amber sprouts from nowhere. With what looks like several sets of old footprints embedded in its hard surface. Looks like another relic from the past, whatever the past consists of in this place. Beyond the mountain, it looked like there was something of a shallow passageway just under the surface of the water, and then that big-ass glowy tower thing that apparently nobody noticed ever, but since the Nirvash decides that it's time to go, we finally get to do something. And who do we find there, but... ZOMG! It's Diane! So this must be the Nexus from that one Star Trek movie, where everyone who gets **bleep** into a Seven Swell ends up and then gets to make appearances in Acperience-y acid trips. Neato.

And thanks to Eureka's squishy form being warm and smelling nice, Maeter remembers when her family was killed. Oopsie. But the kids forgive her, since she's their mama now no matter what happened in the past or is happening now. Awwww.

That was an interesting transition shot there, moving up from Renton and Eureka's scene to the world as we knew it. Maybe "Earth" actually is underground. Hmmm.

So back at Tressoir, everyone's feeling kind of huffy getting preparations finished up before they go out to face off with Dewey's forces. Jurgen's got too much war in his blood and not enough sugar, and decides that his tricked-out hot rod needs to be red. Badass. And I hope Woz and Jobs got their techie nerd tiff worked out. :smileyvery-happy: And Holland has to deal with KLF goons who are still sore about their buddies getting blowed up. Leave it to no-nonsense Talho to tell them to knock it off and focus on what needs to be done. They've all been betrayed by Dewey, so it doesn't matter what's happened between them before now. And Holland is working harder than any of them, and putting himself through the kind of pain that they can understand (as their KLFs seem to involve the same facial hookups as the 303), but is way more intense than what they've ever dealt with. So it seems that he's gained their respect, at least grudgingly, and the entire force who stayed with Jurgens continue on with Gekko State to go out and fight Dewey's 13,000 fighter craft with their two little ships. Yee-haw. :smileyvery-happy:

And meanwhile Holland's thinking ahead to the eventuality that they actually win the war and save the world, and he's not sure what he would do then... the obvious course of action is to just settle down with Talho and their family, but he has so much blood on his hands (including that of power-couple Charles and Ray) that he's not sure he deserves that kind of stable home life. I'm just hoping that he actually makes it to having to deal with that "problem."

ZOMG nekkid Dominic! And Gulliver is still sitting in his bed, and appears to be losing weight. I'm still wondering why exactly Dewey had him sent along with Dominic. Presumably to get him away from Anemone, so maybe Gulliver hasn't been eating much since he's been separated from her. And meanwhile Anemone is sitting alone and despondent (and probably bored out of her skull) under the watchful glare of theEND, still with the flower Dominic gave her. I bet she's not going to let go of that flower anytime soon. I hope we get some intel on theEND sometime soon. We still don't know just where it came from or how it relates to the typeZERO or why Anemone needed to be "created" to pilot it or why it connects with her the way it does. It's awfully creepy, though, and it seems that even though Dewey has pretty thoroughly given up on Anemone and cast her off, he'll still sweet-talk her into "dancing" for him as long as he doesn't have anything better. It's also interesting that he still needs theEND to go out into battle, even with his mega-forces (and what looks like an uber-Orange missile) trained on the mountains where the central Coralian control cluster is supposed to be located. And of course he's all smug about his little operation there, as always. (Dewey: "There is no one who can stop us now." *shot of the Gekko* Me: "You sure about that, Dewey?" :smileyvery-happy:) I'm guessing that this Oratorio #8 thing that the Loli Squad brought down was the former digs of the Sages, or at least part of it, since it was up on that long elevator-pole thing on the screen. And according to Dewey it was a system that was designed 10,000 years ago (presumably when humans first colonized the planet) to bring wealth and prosperity to the people. And so by wiping out the Coralians and claiming sole sovereignity for humans, Dewey believes he is fulfilling the system's original purpose. Interesting that wealth and prosperity are more important to him than, say, peace and not blowing the hell up. :smileyvery-happy:

There was some new music there in the first part of the episode. Good stuff.

And the preview gave us quite a bit to think about too, but that can wait for next week. :smileyhappy:
