To answer your question, no.  Izaya is like an animated embodiment of 4chan, trolling and lulz at the expense of others are what he functions on.

So how are you going to count people who get trolled by him more than once?

I'm counting the number of people directly trolled by him, so if someone is trolled by him directly more than once in an episode, it will count for each individual act of trolling, for example, trolling Shizzy two or three times would be two or three,

not one, since I'm trying to count the number of times he delibrately trolls, as opposed to the number of different people.

Oh, I see.  It's probably best to count only direct trolling anyway, if you tried to throw in indirect trolling then that could rapidly spiral beyond the abilities of any mortal man to keep track of.  :smileyvery-happy:

Yeah, maximum direct acts of trallin.

I don't know if Muramasa could even use his hax on Kenny's zanpakto, since Kenny hasn't learned its name yet.

Ichigo is always being saved by someone cooler, it is as much a part of Bleach as Orihime's boobs or

Rukia's greasy hair.

I don't think ordinary people can see Ayakashi, not sure though. It would draw the shadow organization though,

and more specifically the Night Troops, so I can see why they would be tentative at first, but after losing Team Pew Pew,

I'd think they would just say, "F it, overwhelm the place."

Fanservice for the win.

Well, if I tried to count indirect trallin, I would have to include the entire population of Ikkebukuro, and Shinjuku (I think),

as Ikkebukuro isn't Izaya's primary neighborhood, mostly due to Shizzy tossing pieces of city infrastructure at him.

I would think that any zanpakuto would be susceptible to the whammy. However, it's unlikely Muramasa would put it on Kenpachi, because then the show writers might be forced to name Kenpachi's zanpakuto.

If the Kokuboro had stormed the Karasumori site and eliminated Tokine and Yoshimori in the opening overwhelming attack, then they would have the element of mystery in their favor (meaning the Night Troops would have no information about them at all), they would have secured the site of power (meaning they could use said power in defending the site against a Night Troops incursion), and they would have two fewer skilled, powerful adversaries to come against them.

I have to wonder if the people in Ikebukuro have trouble getting property and vehicle insurance. With all the damage Shizuo causes, it might be like people living on waterways being unable to get flood insurance because the insurers won't accept them.

I thought though that the soul reaper had to know his blade's name for the hax to work. Kenny doesn't, so it wouldn't work. You're probably correct though in that they would have to name Kenny's blade.

This is true, but they probably wouldn't have been able to hold it for long, because at some point the Shadow Organization Council would move, and they would win, handily, for spoilery reasons.

I'm not sure off hand, I think there would probably be a premium increase due to the area for sure, but I doubt there would be a lack of coverage. The other thing is that since it is one person doing it, companies might move in civil damage claims.

Until we learn otherwise, I'm operating under the premise that Muramasa can put the whammy on any Sword. Sure, he would go for the named ones first for at least two reasons; 1. the named Swords have greater combat potential, since they belong to powerful Soul Reapers (Captains, Lieutenants, and other seated officers), and 2. depriving those powerful Soul Reapers of the abilities their Swords give them diminishes the obstacle those Soul Reapers pose to his plan.

In the event Kokuboro would take the Karasumori site, I'm guessing the corrupt Council member would move to protect his interest in the site, even if it meant destroying the Council and the Shadow Organization (figuratively or literally) from within.

If the coverage is offered at all, then there certainly would be higher premiums. As for civil suits against Shizuo, there are times when he legitimately acts in defense of himself or another. It would be somewhat more difficult to find him at civil liability in those instances. However, even if there was sufficient evidence for a ruling against him in a case, there are two major obstacles to finding him guilty. First, he's likely protected, to a degree, by the people for whom his handler works. Second, lawyers (and possibly the judges) are too afraid of him to risk getting on his bad side. :smileyvery-happy:

They probably just bring in the Seireitei construction crew to repair the damaged buildings and infrastructure. Those guys can get a town looking like new in no time.

But the Seireitei construction crews are all ghosts. How are they going to manipulate building materials in the Living World? Plus, even if they could, Celty would probably think it her duty to do something about all these ghosts running around and whisk them back to the afterlife.

Well, they were able to remove the entirety of the real Karakura town and replace it with an exact replica, so maybe it only takes some magical hax to poof the building materials in and out. Which would be an even handier way to deal with all the rubble. Just teleport it off to some landfill in the Rukon District or something.

And they could probably keep Celty occupied by sending the cops to chase her around.

Excellence is easy when you do it for a living.... The Weekend in Review ™

  Durarara -
Celty has a good heart, for being an immortal harbinger of death. It almost
seems like Celty is countering the trolling of Izaya, like they bring a strange
sort of balance to each other. Izaya's philosophy of life seems more like a laundry
list of reasons to troll people. Speaking of, I count seven direct trallins
by Izaya, though his little speech on the roof top, while pretty awful, still only
counts as one person being trolled. Masaomi is so hysterical when he creeps on Anri.

  Bleach -
Capt. Unohana : So, Muramasa is controlled the zanpakto?
Ichigo : Uh, I guess so, well, kind of, I mean, I think he is using hax on them.
If we beat them though, we can get them back under control.
Capt. Ukkitake : So, we just have to beat up our own zanpakto.
Shunsui : Great, I don't suppose this can be done quickly.
Renji : Uh, I'm here.
Capt. Ukkitake : So, do you have anything useful to tell us, since you actually beat
up a kid and a chick from Seattle.
Renji : Uh, well.
Zabimaru : I don't remember anything.
Renji : That's stupid.
Zabimaru : We're your zanpakto....
Renji : Hey. :smileymad: *chases Zabimaru*
Capt. Unohana : Renji please behave yourself. :smileyhappy:
Sasquatch : You guys hear that Zabimaru lost to Renji?
Stabby : Chicks from Seattle....
Tubby : So, since you won you think you're cool?
Stabby : At least I wasn't partner with a pinhead.
Heineko : I hate it when guys just fight.
Tobi : You're one to talk. Besides, guys wouldn't go near you with that stinky perfume.
Heineko : Shut up, you're only going to attract pedos and Chris Hanson. :smileytongue:
Muramasa : Uh.
Sasquatch : You let one get away.
Muramasa : Ichigo, I want him captured alive.
Isane : Rukia, you were dumber than usual.
Ichigo : Yeah, I mean, it is filler and all, but still.
Rukia : I know, but I have a bad feeling.
Ikkaku : So, you got your zanpakto back, I wanna hear about it.
Red Shirt 1 : Stay alert.
*Red Shirts get judo chopped*
Pinhead : Why do I gotta go check the records. I mean, I can barely read to begin with.
*trips over judo chopped flunkies*
Pinhead : what's going on?
Tubby : Pathetic losers.
Pinhead : Are you who I think you are?
Tubby : I'm your zanpakto.
Pinhead : You're pretty stylish.
Tubby : You're going bald and you're fat.
Pinhead : That does it, I'm going to make you surrender to me. *fights with Tubby but gets a chunk of
wall kicked into him.*
Ikkaku : Time for some training.
Sasquatch : Hey partner.
Ikkaku : Heh, time to go for it. *dances* Perfect, I'll beat you and get my power back.
Sasquatch : You think you can win.
Ikkaku : Yeah, I can win. *starts fighting with Sasquatch.*
Sasquatch : Time to get serious. *bankai*
Tubby : *takes cheap shots at Ichigo*
Ichigo : What a cheater.
Tubby : Pinhead is my partner, duh.
Ichigo : Well, that explains things.
Tubby : I'm taking you out. *cheap shot again*
Ichigo : *tenshous hell out of Tubby*
Ikkaku : *gets knocked the F out* Don't interfere.
Soi fon : Stop, a bunch of us are going to butt in now.
Ikkaku : What the hell, this fight was actually cool.
Soi fon : Quit being lazy, get him.
Sasquatch : *pwns losers and disappears*
Red Shirt : We got one of them. Also, we found Pinhead.
Soi Fon : Leave the fat one, no, the other fat one.
Shunsui : Ouch. :smileyvery-happy:

  Kekkaishi -
Masamori is probably right in that he is best suited to help the Kekkaishi keep everyone out of
Karasumori. I don't think he is as correct about keeping his heart separated from his actions,
he keeps resorting to some unsavory tactics to get the job done.

  FLCL -
Why does everyone expect Naota to know what fooly cooly means. That is just unfair, since
he doesn't even do any fooly cooly himself. If Naota had the powers of the pirate king, and
he just let them go, wouldn't it be impossible for Haruko to actually consume them?

  Cowboy Bebop -
Ein is as much a hacker as Ed, possibly even better. I find it odd that these devices are being
sold capable of making those high frequency sounds. Where is the consumer product safety
group, I mean, if they were being sold on the black market that is one thing, but they
were being sold in a Toys R Us. I'm not surprised to find out that a kid in a coma is the
one responsible for this kind of cult. No one would suspect him of creating it, and people
can seem to be anything on the internet.

  Big O -
Roger getting kidnapped and Dorothy negotiating with Beck is a nice change of pace,
even if it is somewhat predictable. The talking Roger head is kind of funny, and
pretty clever actually.

  Gits -
Batou should really know better than to do silly things like head to the Major's
hideout. I'm kind of surprised they don't have some kind of arranged method
for contacting each other if they have to go underground. The cameras in the
city are certainly hard to beat, but not impossible, especially if you have
access to therm-optic camouflage.

  InuYasha -
What is it with smart people not figuring out that if you serve a giant megadouche,
eventually he will betray you. Inuyasha should be ashamed of himself, he got bailed out by
Jakken. That alone is perma-shame. What is it with these people always making fun
of the toughest opponent. Kagome is funny, scolding the panther demons. Jakken making
sense two weeks in a row, this is definitely unprecedented.

  FMA B -
 Bradley.

First, probably, presumably in semi-perma-shikai form since she doesn't start with a regular blade like other soul reapers do.

Second, a huge pair of boobs that come down and smother her opponents.

I think that Anri's shikai is when she manifests Saika from her arm, and that the bankai would be when she does the telepathy thing with Saika's children, urging them to act in accordance with her wishes.

As for Chizuru, her shikai is her regular level of molestation, and her bankai is when she's in her suit-enhanced, ultra-molesterific mode, like against that one female Arrancar in the flying Hollow Fortress.

"I'm appalled you would start with this trash".... The Weekend in Review ™

  Durarara -
Masaomi is a player, and I think he is right, Mikado is seriously blocking him.
It's alright though, he has the right attitude, talk, and if you get digits, bonus.
All the talk of change is kind of interesting, I think in many ways the change occurs
because of Izaya's meddling/trolling. Speaking of, Izaya actually trolled people
who deserved it for once, save Shizu-chan, who doesn't deserve it, but seems to be
a magnet for random violence and trolling.

  Bleach -
Flunky : Uh, Capt. Unohana, we got tons of new patients.
Capt. Unohana : Isane, go help them.
Isane : Uh, alright.
Capt. Ukkitake : So, we missed a chance to capture two of these things.
Shunsui : Eh, they are tricky, well, at least the ones that aren't tubby.
Capt. Ukkitake : So, uh, about squad 6, Without Capt. :smileyindifferent: they are just loafing
and drinking and generally being useless.
Shunsui : Well, I can't blame them, Capt. :smileyindifferent: has always been a stick in the mud.
Rangiku : Hey Emomo, thanks for waiting.
Emomo : I just told everyone to take a break.
Rangiku : Our turn for a break too I suppose.
Ichigo : Was that really Capt. :smileyindifferent: I saw? Why do I have to figure things out, thinking makes my head hurt.
Muramasa : *wanders up to a bunch of Maenos*
Heineko : Where is he?
Tobi : You were just being a skank, he probably ran away.
Heineko : Where did he get to?
Tobi : I can find him faster than you.
Heineko : Huh, probably not. Besides, he wants me obviously.
Tobi : Nuh uh.
Heineko : He doesn't want some flatty....
Tobi : :smileytongue:
Heineko : Isn't that Ichigo?
Tobi : Muramasa was interested in him. *ambushes Ichigo*
Ichigo : Uh, who are you two?
Heineko : Men like this are my specialty. :smileywink:
Tobi : You're so indecent.
Heineko : *surrounds Ichigo with dust*
Ichigo : *tenshous dust away* Alright, I'm leaving, this is boring.
Tobi : Don't run away.
Heineko : Yeah, why would you leave a hottie like me.
Ichigo : Gah, this is awful.
Rangiku : Mind if we butt in.
Emomo : Yeah, these two are our problem now.
Ichigo : Finally.
Heineko : Alright old hag, I guess I'll spank you instead. :smileytongue:
Rangiku : Old hag? At least I'm don't have a greasy tail. :smileytongue:
Heineko : Greasy? :smileymad: *start fighting*
Tobi : You going to fight, or sit there and wait and be emo?
Emomo : *uses kido to knock Tobi into Heineko*
Heineko : Hey, what's wrong with you.
Tobi : I couldn't avoid your fat ass.
Rangiku : Do we have to take them back?
Ichigo : Something is wrong. *dodges ice dragons*
Scar wannabe? : Are you Ichigo?
Ichigo : Yeah. Who are you?
Scar wannabe? : I don't know.
Grumpy Shota : Your name is Hyorin Maru.

  Kekkaishi -
Baby Gen is creepy, I can see why his family sent him off to the Night Troops. Yeah, the
kids that were harassing him deserved a whooping, but hurling a boulder when they chuck mud,
and then going after them with claws like that is a bit extreme. Masamori is probably right
in getting Gen into the Night Troops, if he just left him with that sealing tattoo, Gen would
have probably overcome it at some point.

  FLCL -
Haruko really is kind of a jerk. Sure, she is cute, and lovable in her own way, but ultimately
she is a jerk. What I don't get is why any parent would have someone like her randomly living
in their house. Mamimi is probably the most adorable person in the series.

  Cowboy Bebop -
So, is Faye like Mitt Romney, tying Ed to the top of her ship? Ed seems to know the strangest
collection of people, which isn't really surprising. Faye needed to find her past, just to
put it to rest, and now that she has, she can go forward. I like that Ed and Ein got to say
good-bye, they really deserved to have a happy ending.

  Big O -
That is a nasty little weapon, a crossbow that fires a magnetic pipe bomb. Dastun is
pretty suspicious of Paradigm, though I can't really blame him. Fred is a good counter to
Dastun, even if they don't get along. The DMV must be really lax, to let people drive around
with motorcycles that have rocket launchers in them.

  Gits -
Togusa wins for worst assassin ever. Seeing him moping around is kind of hard, he isn't
the type to want to sit and do nothing. Togusa needs to accept that sometimes justice
isn't just, but he isn't the type to accept those sorts of things. Aramaki did the best
thing he could, he saved his team by killing them, and he got Togusa out of the way.

  InuYasha -
Miroku is such a hater. This silly prince has no shame in his game, but honestly he
has no game either. InuYasha is dumb, seriously.

  FMA B -
 Ling being around is good.

If I can help it at all, I intend never to see a 3-D movie. Just no.

Especially not one I've already seen years ago.

As for Kamon letting Haruko stay with them, I can understand him wanting to use whatever means he could to try to get close to her in that way.

I think Hard Luck Woman was the best way to have Ed part with the Bebop crew, and at the perfect time as well. Had she been around for the following events, her loss and the grief of the others would nearly, if not entirely, destroy her. It was the perfect place for the happy, innocent child to leave so she could retain that innocence for a while longer.

"We'll just go drown our sorrows at a nudie bar".... The Weekend in Review ™

  Durarara -
Celty's past is kind of sad, I wouldn't want to lose my memories and keep on living like that, particularly if you still have flashbacks of your previous life. I think that seeing the world through her eyes would
be interesting, I guess it would be like a kind of magic vision, not having a head. Even at that, she has to have a brain somewhere, but it didn't seem like there was one there. Shinra's dad needs to listen to Tom Selleck and
find better father/son activities. Izaya didn't troll anyone, at least not directly, unless of course you count the fact that he probably knew the portrait artist wouldn't be able to help Celty, in which case he trolled Celty
and the artist himself, by sending Celty without her head, and keeping the artist from finishing his life's work. The more I consider it, the more I think that is the likely case, so I guess we'll add two more to the troll count.

  Bleach -
Tobi : Admit to reality.
Emomo : Huh?
Tobi : You were betrayed and you ended up all emo and useless.
Emomo : Am not. :smileyindifferent:
Tobi : *shoots fireballs at Emomo*
Heineko : Wow, you can still move for being and old lady. :smileytongue:
Rangiku : Brat. *grabs hair*
Heineko : Owww. *cuts open top* I was going to make you look cuter, but
gravity spoiled it, old lady. :smileytongue:
Rangiku : :smileymad:
Tobi : No one is your friend.
Emomo : *shoots lighting rope at Heineko*
Rangiku : *hadokens Tobi*
Emomo : *catches Tobi and Heineko*
Rangiku : Hah, serves you two right. You both deserve each other, so try to get along. Emomo
and I both knew that we could distract you and win easily enough.
Tobi : :smileyindifferent:
Heineko : You're one to talk old lady.
Rangiku : Stop calling me old. :smileymad:
Emomo : Being old isn't bad, you stop being emotional.
Heineko : Right....
Grumpy Shota : You are Hyrorinmaru, and I'm your master.
Hyorinmaru : Don't make me laugh, I'm not the property of a grumpy shota. :smileyindifferent:
Grumpy Shota : I am your master.
Hyorinmarin : Words won't convince me little grumpy shota.
Grumpy Shota : *shoots yellow chains*
Hyorinmaru : Wasted effort. *breaks chain* Useless. *shoots ice dragon at Grumpy Shota*
Grumpy Shota : I hear that the zanpakto were released to fulfill their desire. What is it you desire?
Hyorinmaru : I desire a home.
*flashback*
Grumpy Chibi : Why is everyone afraid of me? Is it because I have silver hair, or is it because I'm grumpy.
Store guy : Here, now get going.
Rangiku : *boobie bounces grumpy chibi* Hey store jerk, stop being lame.
Grumpy chibi : I'm having odd dreams about lightning and ice dragons.
Rangiku : You should conceal your spirit energy while you sleep. Look at your grandma, she'll die
if you don't become a soul reaper. Listen to the voice in your dream.
*flashback over*
Grumpy Shota : *releases shikai and attacks with an ice dragon.* Remember your home Hyorinmaru.
Hyorinmaru : I remember now.

  Kekkaishi -
You know, if Gen doesn't want to take a bath with Atora....
Her challenge was a good test of teamwork, it really was team Kekkaishi including Gen vs. Team
Atora, at least her least powerful monsters. Gen said that she had monsters that would totally
cream them, but that wasn't her goal. Gen trusted someone else, which is what she was after.

  FLCL -
It was pretty heroic of Naota to jump in and save Mamimi like he did. I can understand Mamimi
wanting to kind of retreat into her own world, she doesn't really seem to fit into things
very well.

  Big O -
I can't really blame Roger for freaking out a little, he is having dreams about being a tomato
after all. Alex sneaking off to meet isn't surprising, he always seems to be plotting something.

  Gits -
Alright, I enjoyed watching Section 9 take down the random terrorists, but I think I would
have enjoyed watching the Major go to a nudie bar just as equally. In an age of nano-machines,
why don't the cops have small quiet camera robots for air ducts. It seems like an odd gap
in equipment, something like a small remote camera would be idea for so many applications,
not to mention keeping cops from getting caught or killed crawling around in air ducts.

  InuYasha -
Getting outwitted by Jakken is like being beaten up by Shippo. Even funnier is having
your plan foiled by a six year old girl.

  FMA B -
 Poor Winry.

Thank you for the update Jingai Sensei,

Well, this is about as IB as AD gets. I'm still amazed it hasn't been locked. :smileyvery-happy:

They want to knock you up probably. IB is odd like that.

There is no Boondocks this Saturday. It is all Fam guy Star Wars, Robot Chicken Star Wars and Star Wars Clone Wars, but the Clone Wars eps are pretty good ones.

I don't know who is going to win the SB, I don't really care either.
Pats will probably win.

Character submissions are always welcome. :smileyhappy:

I'm not sure I would count the artist. That guy saw her long before Izaya's birth, so I can't see giving Izaya credit for confounding the guy's life's work.

I don't think we got enough in the show from Atora's monsters. If she has ones which are that powerful, she should have let Squad 1 or whatever they're called have it when they try to invade the second time.

About the IY episode, I forget whether Inu Yasha is in his human state when Jakken approaches them. If not, then Inu Yasha should have been able to out Jakken by smell alone. Even if all imps have similar odors, they should still be sufficiently distinct for a dog demon to identify one he's previously encountered.

I usually pull for the AFC team in the Superbowl, but Pats? Ew, no. Go Giants.

Honestly it was probaly because i didn't hang out too much here, but yesterday was the calmest i'v seen this side of the boards become like that.

It was nice, nobody said or took something i said seriously like they usually do. It was frakin awsome. It felt nice to just be on cruise control, instead of trying to gun it at 100 words a minute to make sure i get out of here alive and in one piece.

Aww Jingai your killin me? No SB for you? Thats all good, as expected from a straight shooter.

I for one did watch a bit of the Star Wars marathon-thingy, it' was alright for the most part. A bit of the FamGuy/RobChicken thrown in with the CN SW was ok for me. Looked like they were a bunch of eps from maybe the last parts of seasons 3? Im not sure but it was cool.

Im lookin forward to the game today :smileyhappy: Eli. Brady. Giants. Patriots. Booze. Wings. Pizza.
Im getting all geared up for this. =)

I enjoyed the Superbowl itself, the game was good. The halftime show and the Obama campaign commercial were lame though.
I liked the Clone Wars episodes, they were actually really good ones.
Too bad they didn't do anything with the storyline after it, it was pretty awesome. Hopefully they will pick it back up in the future.
