Sometimes I wonder if Adultswim does anything with their prime time block (7-10pm) at all, they treat it like a 4am slot with all the reruns. Why not ease people into adult swim with a teen block that isn't Toonami... kind of a Disney XD deal where it's the same spiel but new shows and advertising. Maybe put it on a few times a week, and treat it like adult swim light: Put on Naruto Shippuden, One Piece, Star Wars, 6teen, and maybe a few other new shows (Anime, and maybe even a Cartoon Network Studios projects aimed for teens with a PG rating) and old shows, mix it up (and maybe second premiers once a week).

I love KotH, but I'm not opposed to moving it back and moving back the 10pm,10:30pm time blocks back to CN.

Adult Swim should keep their adult show, not mix them with shows that are just popular, because I'm sure the people hardcore enough to love Clone Wars have probably seen it already. I want to see more Anime on Adult swim (renewing old shows like more Shin Chan, Bleach, and finishing Moribito) and maybe a new show here or there: Darker than Black seems popular, I know the new Full Metal will be a desired late'09/'10 premiere, Gurren Lagan, Gintama, D.Greyman, Reborn, Phantom, Basquash, East of Eden, something like that.. one or two of them or so. Still, I don't think Action vs. Comedy shouldn't be Anime vs. Domestic animation... I really think there should be more Comedy programs from the East on the Comedy Blocks and an original Action Show or two on the action block! Genndy seems to always have wanted to do anime, get him out of retirement and tell him not to worry about censorship and make a program. Full creative potential, it'll probably be gold!

I agree with everything you said, they do not have that much anime on AS. I think they are coming out with a line up something like disney XD. I read that on ICv2.com website. This website keeps you up to date on a lot of stuff going on in the anime world and other stuff. Check it out

blood+ could take up one of those spots, but isn't. not a good sign far as i'm concerned...

Ouch. I totally forgot about Blood+. :smileyindifferent: :smileysad:

what you said was still right, though. far as i know. even if blood+ was on there would still be one slot unfilled... under the current show placement...

There would be?.....dam....i guess that might be a reason why they wont put on Blood + reruns......that and they might be losing the rights to it as well....

there's two bleach and two geass episodes, which means even if blood+ took one of those spots there would still be a rerun of one of the shows. far as i know [adultswim] doesn't have enough anime to fill the schedule anymore...

Has anyone been talking about that last part of the Bleach bump where they mention a show premiering at 5AM? Two things- what show is this, and two, more importantly, are they still in the habit of premiering anime at 5 in the morning? Did they not learn by now that this is a bad idea?

I think that's going to be Rising Son, but I don't recall the premise of that one.

The better news is that Brak will follow it. If we have to lose an Action slot, I'm glad it's (partially) to Brak.

That's because they haven't told us the premise of that one :smileytongue:

The only thing Brak Show has going for it is nostalgia. It was one of those old original shows that got AS started. So even though it's comedy, we can say it's grandfathered in.

I think the 5am show they are talking about is Rising Son. Which I truly believe is the second season of Perfect Hair Forever.

I've been meaning to chime in on this one, but haven't been on the boards in a while.  It seems that every time I have something to write on here its usually negative.  Most of the time my posts are a reaction to some jerk's decision to stick premiers at 5am or to insult the fanbase.  However this time is different.  It seems that AS is actually staying committed to a solid block of action programming on Saturday night.  I'm very happy about this as it looks like a step in the right direction.  Right now we are light years away from where we were in September.

Im not quite sure why we are getting two CG premiers a week as it will cause us to blow through the series a lot faster, but Im not complaining.   I would like to see the block continue to grow and hope that we will get another new anime once CG finishes its run.  Right now, Im happy.

Good Job [adult swim].  Keep it up.

I AM THE NIGHT!!!
