From what I've found on the internet, Case Closed is far from over.  It's got even more episodes than DragonBall Z.  Hopefully though, they'll be better plot development in further episodes than the ones we've seen so far.

368 episodes (as of monday) and 7 movies (pluse 1 more in the works)

well [as] curetly has 52 of them but after showing #48 they wil start repeats on 8/16

oh name the one that is longer. Note Dragoball only betts if you add to geth Dragonball, Dragonball Z, and Dragonball GT

I don't know any but I know that other people have named a few so if you're that concerned about it look it up or somethin'.  I think Astroboy was one of them.  It's been going on for years longer than Detective Conan.

he meant to say that CC is the longest running single series anime with 368 episodes, whereas DBZ is in second with 176? i think. pokemon was broken into series, and that other one must have been too.

Well I think that Sazaku-san was a single running series though, it doesn't sound like an interesting anime, because its like an anime japenese version of the partchrige family (sorry I cant spell)

no problem, im not a real **bleep** or stickler about spelling unless someone tries to correct me all the time, it gets annoying i know.

anyway maybe it is, im not really sure, but doesn't sound that interesting really. im glad to know that the us isnt the only one trying to copy other types of animation (Teen Titans, anyone?) god, i cant stand that show.
