Adult Swim Show Info: Clicking the white show title link will bring you to the show page of the Adult Swim website. This page may contain character descriptions, episode guides, etc. as well as a bunch of neat things like downloads, clips, links to any Adult Swim games based on the show, and any other special extras.
FAQs: Threads answering the most common questions asked of a show. Things like character info, voice actors, basic back story info, etc are likely to be answered in these threads (usually within the first several posts). If for instance you have a question about the age of a character, these types of threads would be a good place to look. If your question has not appeared to have been answered yet, and its a small question you feel is not worthy of its own thread, you could ask in the FAQ thread.
General Discussions: Threads for broad discussion and debate on a variety of topics related to the show. If you're looking for a place to discuss your favorite show, but don't have a specific topic in mind, these type of threads may be for you (bear in mind some discussions may contain spoilers). Although these types of threads are pretty loose in topic, remember that chat is not allowed on the boards. Posts like "hey what's up?" "how are you?" "did you get that thing I sent you?" "got to go to the dentist now" "hey anyone here?" should be avoided at all costs. Threads that become too chatty may be locked or deleted. For the sake of simplicity, only general type show discussions will be listed here. If you wish to have an in depth discuss on a specific topic related to a show, consult the advanced search to see if one exists or feel free to make your own thread on it if it doesn't.
Associates Threads: Q&A type threads created by or for crew members or representatives of a company involved with a series (or group of series). These people have taken their time to answer any questions concerning the shows on which they were involved or the biz in general, so please mind your manners, stay on topic, and whatnot. Note: These are not part of the regular rotation. Some have only aired once or twice and its unknown when these will air again. Because of this, discussion in these threads is largely dead. But they're listed here, incase anyone wants them anyways.
Note on creating FAQ and Discussion Threads:
Before creating a new FAQ or Discussion, ask yourself "is it really needed?" "when was the current one posted?" "when was the current one last active?". Old FAQs usually are updated when there are new questions/answers or other new information that should be included in the first posts. Discussions are usually updated when they reach 5000 posts (due to reasons dealing with board glitches involving the longer threads that sometimes arise, threads are locked at 5000 posts) or if the previous discussion is incredibly out of date and inactive (this usually happens when there is a long break in the airing of a series). Threads that are currently active should not be remade, unless there is a huge problem, like if there is a lot of spam, or chat, etc. If you would like reuse some info from the previous thread to make a new FAQ or discussion thread, give credit to the original poster, and try to ask the poster of the original material if its ok (if they are still an active member). When making a new FAQ or Discussion, please put a set of rules or guidelines for questions and discussions. If your FAQ or discussion contains spoilers, put a warning in the thread title and/or the first post (as well as idea of the extent of the spoilers- i.e. full series, or up to a certain ep, etc). Please post a rule/warning as to what type of spoilers (unmarked/marked, and to what extent) are allowed in the thread or if they are not allowed at all.
This thread is not meant to be a general Q&A type thread. If you have any technical problems or need assistance, please check out the help threads floated in the adultswim.com folder. This thread will stay open in order for people to report broken links, closed threads, new threads, etc.
This list was compiled from both the previous thread and through the advanced search. List of general Discussions also come from previous list created by Nothingface.
I was unable to find some threads, so there are currently some blank slots. I tried to list the most current, relevant, discussions and FAQs. If there are any errors, please post a note of it.
