I think with [AS] and ADV being on good terms, I would also like to see some of there OVAs or movies. I think it could work out, like with maybe the OVA: Gunsmith Cats, being played like a movie or a few week span special, I'm asking for something new/interesting to be played while they come up with another hit series or something.

I really hope they show End of Evangelion. I've seen it before, but there are a lot of questionable things that may not be allowed on TV without some massive censorship going down. Perhaps a warning before showing it would work. But once people see the ending of the series...they might end up having to show it.

AS should pick up the new anime Monster as soon as it's licensed ... it's a crime thriller about a fugitive japanese neurosurgeon running around the former soviet republics trying to find the evil twin of his love interest who's life he saved after se tried to kill him. It's awesome, definitely champloo / bebop quality, very dark, serious, and realistic. I don't know when it will be licensed ... the run just finished in Japan, but there are already rumors of a live-action film based on the series.

that does sound like a pretty awsome show. [as] should get the rights to that and show it. it sounds like it would really be worth watching.

Yeah. That "Monster" sounds good.

Couple of suggestions here: Bleach, Blood+, Fafner, X, and Trinity Blood.  the two that I most want to see are Bleach and Fafner. Monster,   while I haven't seen or read it, looks like it could be a decent series as well.

By NO MEANS would I recommend DNAngel or Chobits. If you haven't noticed, the anime on [as] leans heavily toward the shonen/seinen, bloody, violent stuff. Besides, DNAngel is geared for a younger crowd, and Chobits is extremely happy and fluffy.

The only one I recognize is Bleach and that ones awesome. No clue what the other ones are.

you guys remember cartoon cartoon movies well i think adult swim needs a permanent type of movie showing as well. i wonder if they'll ever play any of the yu-yu hakusho movies or the inuyasha movies, or how about airing the cowboy bebop movie again. i love that movie

Does anyone have any insight into how AS is choosing to air Ghost in the Shell? That is, I'm wondering why they aren't playing the episodes in numerical order, is there a higher philosophical order that the episodes work better in? Any help on this subject is appreciated.

They are playing them in order.  The premieres on Saturday have been in order since they've started 2nd Gig.  The FNF airing is just a way for some folks to see the premieres a day, or night I guess, early. 

As for the run on Wednesday nights they just started, that's not supposed to be a part of the premiere running of episodes they've got going.  It's a separate rerun from the beginning of 2nd Gig to give more people a chance to get into the show, and also to give folks who missed some of the early episodes another chance to catch them.
