Hopefully they'll do that real soon....
When is their 2006 Upfront press conference coming?
That might give us a look at what's to come up this year as well...
Word has it from Sketchor over at the Ratings Thread at the Williams Street Culture Folder of this here boards that the General Cartoon Network "Upfront News Announcements" will be held at March 1st, 2006. Don't know if that will have any [adult swim] announcements though, but BrandMerrill an "SwimInsider Admin" stated in another thread over there that the answers for the "Email Q&A Session With Kim Manning and Nick Weidenfeld" that they did through out the month of January will be posted on the main [as].com site sections by the end of February (next week).
Anyhow, hopefully we'll know more about possible "new" anime acquisitions for CN and [as] by the end of next week.

Yeah, that is if they posted that stuff on Monday.
They have been slow with the updates lately. Not that I'm complaining since I think the folks at [as] are busy working on something, but just letting everyone know that don't count on all the timely updates to be posted first thing at the beginning of the week on here.
I'm sure they will have that stuff posted but I'm not going to be surprised that it get posted up by Thursday of next week.
Again, I'm looking forward to see what they have planned or to see if I was right with my personal pessimistic speculations. I'm hoping for a more optimistic year in [as] action.

Off Topic........
Well, they do try to keep the "on air" programming schedule updated every week as far as I know, despite the few occasional mistakes here and there. Don't remind me about that "Schedule Box" there on the front page of the main site. As far as I know that thing never worked correctly and so far I have to pull up the old schedule site just to get a listing on GITS: S.A.C. 2nd GIG episodes. Honestly, there are so many things that is not working on the site at any given time that I can fully understand how busy the administrators of the site are. Plus most of the web site admins on here have other jobs then to fix and "baby sit" things on the web site, so I can put up with little inconveniences here and there. This is a very complicated web site now and it's not like the one before which was simpler with less functions, and you know what they say, "the more complex some thing is the more problems it'll have".
I am not complaining and I am just letting everyone know that we just have to be very patient and put with certain things on this site. Just to let the administrators know that most things on the main site and on this here boards have functioned properly for me so far and if there are problems I mostly managed to figured it out by my self what's wrong and get back on here with no problems.
Better let this thread get back on topic.
A link to the first post on this thread. If any of you out there that have been in the main "Action Discussion" folder on this here boards and haven't read that post on here yet......then please read it and be informed on the shows here in [as] "Action / Anime". Just a little reminder for those that haven't done so already. ![]()
Edit: fixed a misspelled word.

do you think there is a possibility of AS adopting Samurai 7.
I also would like to know what other shows you know they might be looking at?

Since ADV and AS are on good terms, here's some of their anime's I think might get some some good air time on AS:
- Vandread (8 DVD's in length, has plenty of action, and has a slight romantic theme)
- DNAngel (7 DVD's in length, blending of action and romance)

Quick question.
Is the Samurai Champloo series completed? Will there be any other episodes? The last one made it seem like it was all wrapped up.
