....What The Hell Is a final act?

I only heard about Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood & Durarara!

A 3rd? Huh must of missed something.

First I wouldn't be surprised if AS DIDN'T get the Final Act.

Second, why is this not in the Inuyasha section?

Third, apparently a DVD set is gonna be released sometime this year for sure. Buying/renting it might be your best bet if you wanna see/hear the dub.

It's apparently been dubbed, as already mentioned in the thread it's coming to DVD sometime this year.

So it's soon or never and it's starting to look more like never.

You can argue they've kept IY around all these years so it must have some value to them but you can also argue it hasn't been seen regularly outside of the 5AM hour in at least 3 years and they've done nothing to ramp up to airing The Final Act.

My advice, give up on Adult Swim airing it and watch the subs on Hulu or just keep waiting for the DVDs. Maybe by the time it's on DVD Adult Swim will finally be airing it but it doesn't look like they're interested.

it's only been Dubbed in Singapore, there are no plans currently to license or relese it in the US, unless something has changed since last month

Yeah, why do those dummies have to take so long to release the Final Act in English? I just think they are jerks who want to hurt us.

They seem to be avoiding releasing it on DVD and Blu-Ray because of fear of reverse importation of at least the Blu-Ray releases but also the DVD ones. Viz will end up selling InuYasha: The Final Act here for far cheaper than it will be in Japan.

They also surely want it on TV here before they roll out the home video release because that serves as an advertisement for the home video release.

Viz had to wait until the dub was done over at Ocean Studios in Canada and there seems to have been some complications.

And lastly after so long of a wait Adult Swim doesn't seem interested. Despite running IY every Saturday at 5:30AM because they still have a contract for it, they may have no intention of finishing the series so long after the fact.

I'm sure it would still do plenty well if they did air it but maybe Viz wants a lot of money for it and they'd rather buy something cheaper since anime is a low priority for them these days.
