and new hope to return of the jedi are the best starwars moives any ways

I think Star Wars makes a great addition to the Adult Swim line-up, it's animation so it should fit in nicely.

On the one hand Clone Wars is total crap.

On the other, seeing animu fans cry about it is entertaining.

You see, AS doesn't have an anime block, they have and action block, so it is action, so they put it there.

It just so happends that the anime they get is also action, and is primarily whats on the action block, that doesn't mean they can't show some american action cartoons if they wanna.

But i do agree star wars is crap....

I'm pleased that you came by this folder.

I agree that the original trilogy was superior. Further, I'm not looking forward to Clone Wars preempting the Action lineup, even if it's only for a night.

Clone Wars isn't an addition. It's been part of the Action roster for years now. It just hasn't actually aired on [as] since 2009.

In theory, yes, any CN-made show could air on [as] should [as] want to take that programming risk.

As others have said, ASA stands for Adult Swim ACTION so a show doesn't have to be Japanese animation to air there.

But currently Star Wars: TCW is only listed for one Star Wars themed night which is happening to incorrelation with Star Wars Episode I returning to theater's in 3D.

It probably wont be on beyond that week unless it actually does well.

Well, it's a good thing George Lucas is going to retire. After the problems he had getting "Red Tails" greenlit, he decided to call it quits and move toward making "personal" films.

god damnit.

I've been ripping on clone wars for years and now it hits home.

The premise for clone wars was to take the very worst star wars movie and make it into a series.

The only upside is that Bleach is on just after so it may get a few new anime converts, though Bleach is a stupid show that will bring in stupid converts. When I say stupid I mean it is stupidly written which tends to attract 12-17 year olds

It takes a convert some time to move from Bleach fan (or Inuyasha in my case) to a higher tier of anime fan that watches suff like durarara. Point is the more fans anime has the more likely AS is to show more good anime. Honestly at this point I think it is MUCH more likely that the anime block will go away than be revitalized because it has been on a downward trend for many years.

Also I thought I heard my brother tell me that fox or something will be running a saturday night comedy show block to compete with adult swim. If that is true I would expect AS to jump ship on the anime and cram in more Family Guy or something to try to get more of the viewers
