It's not anime's fault. It's japanese society in general. So much is expected of males there, that they actively choose not to find a mate because they would rather not deal with the crap that comes along with it. It's easier for them to be alone and not have anything expected of them.

In face Japan like the USA had a baby boom after world war 2  but  lot reasons are for issue children of men touch on subject  but there mean reason in my opinion Japanese men little to sensitive for there culture in other word Japanese women want there men to man up less of touchy feely stuff because I guess there over doing it
