There is a bit of a difference between the two--the first version of Talho was more or less like Faye from Bebop, while the later version was like Troi on Star Trek: The Next Generation. (If that makes any sense). Personally, I like both as well.

My favorite male character has to be, far and away, Moondoggie. If nothing else, than for just that cool name!! Also, I love the fact that during the first episode, he spoke near-flawless surfer/street speak!

As of now, I'd go with Anemone. I like the episodes where she frantically give excuses, in a fearful state, not to pilot theEND onto the battlefield... then a few seconds later--with the use of drugs--says "I can do this!"
