i was just wondering if anybody has watched the dvd with subtitles because they are way off.  i understand that the subtitles were made from the japaness translations and the american voices have to match up with the lip movements so the script gets changed but you would think that they would have to sets of subtitles, the ones that match up with the japaness diolouge and the ones that match up the english.  i mean only like a handfull of lines actully match up with what there saying.  i find i kinda funny and amusing to compare them but i was just wondering what anyone else thought.

i own the entire series, ovas included and they are all subbed...  and yes they are very off a times... however you get that with just about any translation

nonetheless i find that it really does not bother me, after seeing so many series subbed rather than dubbed i guess after a bit you really just do not notice it and that you are able to tell where the mistakes are and almost go around them in your head and not notice...

yeah, it's not really a big deal.  i means the same thing but i would have thought the offical american dvd would have subtitles for the english transalations too and not just the japaness translation.

I have the DVD, the subtitles did $uck. In one scene the sutitles refered to Blue as a boy.

it's not uncommon for some one to call their dog boy, even if they are a girl.  i have probably called my dog boy once.  but normally i say girl being that she is a girl   LOL
