Theres some free episodes of some [adult swim] shows over in the video section. most notably Home movies, Metalocalyspe and Harvey birdman. i guess hearing people **noel** about [as] gold (not that i blame them) has made [adult swim] go back to releasing free full episodes again. although its just a few episodes from a few shows.

I think they are rotating in episodes.  So they'll change every so often.

I knew things would work out in the end. I know the whole [AS] Gold situation is infuriating and not everyone is wild about collecting DVDs, so I can understand the hostility.

im crazy about dvd collections hell im even making a collection based off my favorite [adult swim] shows. back to the [as] gold problem of course people are going to **noel** about it because they can no longer watch their favorite shows. from what i heard even the guys at [as] hate this gold stuff however there is one thing that i would like to talk about. why dopeople **noel** about [adult swim] gold, not being able to watch their shows when there are about a million streaming websites on the interweb that they could just go watch their crap there like Hulu or crackle? im not trying to be a **noel** or anything but have [adult swim] fans instead have gone to watch theiur shows on other sites instead of worrying about [adult swim] gold. personally for me im if i miss something i can just cut my losses or go see if i can watch it on youtube. perosnally i really dont like using streaming sites except for youtube becuase of all the crap you have to put up with just to watch your stuff. i STILL havent found a website capable of letting me watch AKIRA-The movie without giving me some crap to deal with like surveys or advertisements or a **noel** time limit!!

It's not that adultswim fans dont realize they can watch their fav shows somewhere else, it's just, and maybe this is just me personally, that they have a comfort here. Sure, you coudl go to any number of sites, but there's more risks involved. Personally, I don't like to play the odds with viral attacks. Sure, Mcaffee keeps'm at bay for awhile, but constant attacks from sites that are also flagged for being dangerous, just isn't too appealing to me and maybe others. People trust this site.

that explains alot. to the macafree virus protection system thing. it doesnt work as well as it looks. virus's can still get through your computer. its the same as spam.

I'm so glad the free episodes are back. I've missed you Adult Swim! Especially since I don't get to stay up too late because of school/work and I don't have any of the Gold cable providers in my area.

Bah on AS Gold.  Apparently they haven't "partnered" with Midcontinent Communications.  So, I guess the 'reward' for buying a cable subscription doesn't apply to those of us on Midco.  Seems like we're too remote for AS to care about.

It's not a reward for buying cable, it's a reward for buying cable from a company that's giving AS money. Gold wouldn't produce any revenue if AS just gave it to every TV company, especially not for free.

Do they put new episodes on AS.com anymore?  I just got access to the gold section, and even there all I can find are really old reruns.

not only have the free episodes returned to the videos section, but they update much more frequently now and I for one could not be more delighted

I'm so happy they did this. I even have allowed the video ads through just to show some little amount of support for them that I can. Stupid gold system.

I'll bet this has a little to do with a loss of revenue. I mean, less people allowed to watch their videos, less people can see the ads, less money from ad revenue.

Gold doesn't cost any money. It just requires that you subscribe to one of a few specific cable providers. If it did cost money, you're right, very few people would pay for it.

they're there, it's just not really labelled well in the sense that you don't know what's "new" and what's "recently added".

What exactly are you trying to find?
