Oracle told me they bought it from an anime con, not sure which, but on the picutures it says they got it from Japan. Needless to say, it's cool as four of these (#) in place of a curse word.

and something else, iv brought this up before, but evangelion must have had a profound effect on the creators of Big O, i mean look at the shield of the big in the last episode, it looks like an AT field, even the designs are similar

From what I hear, the creators of Big O wanted to design the Mecha on Eva rather than standard Mecha like Gundam.

actually the creatores of big o did say somthing about eva.

They said they liked the look of the midsecion of an eva. Look at big o's umm stomach area, it looks kind of like an eva.

But mostly big o is supposed to remind us of the old giant robot animes.

The creators didn't want Big O to seem as blocky as a military Gundam, they wanted it more life like, like an Eva. But they didn't want it so lifelike that it had vertebrea like an Eva, so they settled for a design that looked more like a robot suit.

I think it would be cool to have giant models of the 3 Bigs next to each other in different positions.. Like Big O preparing a piston punch, Big Duo flying, and Big Fau shooting lasers with those shoulder cannons..

I know this is a old thread but id figred i put my two cents in. about a month ago I was at a unofficial big o site that had a link to a japanese retailer that offred the 7ft big O (it showed the pic and had the price in yen) it was all in japense so i wasnt able to make to much out. Unforntly I cannot find the website i know I wnet to paradigm-city.com took a link to an fan site that had the link to the retalier but i am having trouble finding it..... "only at AS" my @!!

Maybe that's the reason you can't find that link now.  They're making sure it's "Only at AS". 

Now if they really wanted to flaunt Big O, they'd get a banner maybe a story short of the height of the building at the address in the Space Ghost shows, and hang it over the side with the CARTOON NETWORK logo in the windows.  But I get the feeling the 7 foot Big O was cheaper...
