Ideas like that are best left in the locker of great ideas, and held there until they magically get there own network where they'd have the room to do something like that.

Hey... what happened to the ol' school anime? For example, Inuyasha, Wolf Rain, Big O, Trigun etc. Its just not right. Stay true to your roots!!

Inuyasha and Big O do play. Big O just stopped playing through recently, and Inuyasha comes on for an hour at 5 am. But honestly, both of those series are finished now. Same with Trigun and Wolf's Rain (though if I'm not mistaken, they don't even own the rights to those shows anymore.) They need new stuff more than anything, so they're not just playing the same thing over and over again. I would love to see Trigun again, and most of the older animes, but first they need to bring new ratings to the anime block again. Once that happens, they'll have more room to bring back some of the older animes that they still have the rights to.

we need back

Samurai Champloo

Trigun

Lupin

Once upon a time, there was a woman picking up firewood. She came upon a poisonous snake frozen in the snow. She took the snake home and nursed it back to health. One day the snake bit her on the cheek. As she lay dying she asked the snake, "Why have you done this to me?" And the Snake answered, "Look Btch, you knew I was a snake."

I wish they still had the rights to Trigun. I'd like to watch the series through again.

I could just look for it online...but that's no fun when I've already seen it on Adult Swim :smileytongue:

That's what I was expecting. But I think all these guys are talking about the "old school" [adult swim] animes. Not the actually "old school" animes.

When I ment old school I didn't just mean Samurai Champloo,Wolf's Rain and Lupin III! I also ment Yu Yu Hakusho,Outlaw Staw,Techi Muyo and the other classics of 2002-2003.

I would like to see Samurai Champloo back, if it counts.

Fern Gully, Aladdin and Robots will all be watched in future generations for one reason.
There are 5 original seasons of Futurama, not 4.

See, but I'm pretty sure his idea of "Old School Anime" is anime that is old school in general...not old school in an [adult swim] sense.

Basically, shows that came into production before about '95.

nope, I was talking about Adult Swim. Couldn't care less about anime as a genre, since I'm not a fan, but I am a fan of most of the actual old school anime from AS

Chances are that won't happen...so you might as well buy the series collection like I did. Only 30 bucks.

They should totally get Ninja Scroll in the programming! I bet you it'd grab some more ratings.
