Yay for 9pm start!
Weeknights:
I guess I better watch Home Movies while it lasts o_0
Yay American Dad on weeknights!
It kinda resembles the Double Down schedule...
Shouldn't the 5am hour be anime o_0...
Sundays:
Last night was 10pm Venture Bros, but 9pm is even eariler! And better!
10pm Squidbillies sounds awesome also!
Moral Orel returns! That's even better!
Saturdays:
9pm KOTH -_-
New show at 10pm sounds interesting
NO 11PM AMERICAN DAD????? Won't that hurt ratings??????? You broke 700k since Futurama was on the block, and that was a long time ago, and now you're replacing that with the Boondocks? Say what? When the Boondocks were on Saturdays, ratings weren't high at all, like 500k or even lower than KOTH, so I don't see how the Boondocks could get better ratings.
I'm sure Inuyasha will continue to air at the 5am hour.
Death to Cartoon Network! Soon [as] will air 24 hours *evil ATHF scientist laugh*

Dear God. What's with the canceled NBC show coming to [as]? If the show was decent at all it would've been able to overcome whatever controversy it had.
I guess We'll see on New Years...

You messed up a little. On Saturdays you said new Bleach x2, but it's actually still only 1 new episode of Bleach, and Kekkaishi will still be at 12:30/4:30 with new episodes. And you also said 11pm encore, but it's the midnight encore because new Bleach is at midnight (but I wish it was at 11pm!)
Also on weeknights, Robot Chicken x2 is from 12:00 to 12:30, and then ATHF x2 and then Metal x2, and at 1:30 is the start of the repeat block. Just wanted to point a few things out.
Something awful that I noticed. Remember the Double Down schedule? It's back!!!
9:00 KOTH
9:30 KOTH
10:00 American Dad
10:30 American Dad
11:00 Family Guy
11:30 Family Guy
12:00 Robot Chicken
12:15 Robot Chicken
12:30 ATHF
12:45 ATHF
1:00 Metal
1:15 Metal
1:30 American Dad
2:00 American Dad
2:30 Family Guy
3:00 Family Guy
3:30 Robot Chicken
3:45 Robot Chicken
4:00 DVR Theater (probably not double down?)
4:15 DVR Theater (let a 30 min show here?)
4:30 Metal
4:45 Metal
5:00 KOTH
5:30 KOTH
It's Double Down! Also I'm disappointed in the 5am hour because sometimes I like to get up early for school and watch ATHF x2 and Home Movies, not KOTH! (Hint hint... anime or old school block would be nice.)

Back when they first announced the addition of the 9PM hour I figured it was going to be KotH at 9PM and American Dad at 10PM with no other real changes. And so it came to pass. Uninspired scheduling at it's finest.
Pitty about Home Movies. We really don't need a 5AM encore of King of the Hill though I will say I'd rather a KotH encore air then than at 1:30 AM.
So many doubles it's sickening but it's probably going to do well. Very well infact but 9PM King of the Hill probably will flop hard against prime time.
Boo and hiss to Squids getting 10PM on Sunday over Birdman but at least I've got Birdman on DVD.
I still don't think Venture at 9PM is wise due to content (and Squids at 10PM for that matter) but whatever. Sunday overall looks pretty dang sad.
Family Guy on Saturday (assuming they don't pull it before this schedule occurs like they did last time) should do plenty well.
Boondocks probably wont beat American Dad's ratings on Saturday lately but we'll see. Swapping one Boondocks for encores of Black Dynamite later in 2011 would probably do well before anime premieres at midnight.
No sign of the rest of FMA Brotherhood. Curious but I'm sure they'll be playing it eventually.
God The Devil and Bob is another very unexpected addition but I've been curious about that one for a while now and didn't see much of it on NBC so I'm all for it. Probably wont do well at 10PM on Saturday but perhaps being right before FG will help in that regard.
Wouldn't be surprised if the new Saturday schedule will keep Bleach out of the top 3. FG is surely going to take #1 every week and #2 and #3 could easily go to The Boondocks episodes that follow it but I'm hoping 11PM Boon loses to 12AM Bleach at least most weeks.
9PM expansion brings little to the table and strikes a major blow to CN's prime time hours at the point when they actually have shows to air in that hour. Bad timing I'd say and it's going to hurt CN while not really helping Adult Swim. So I hope it does bomb and CN gets that hour back before the end of 2011 but chances are even if it doesn't meet expectations, AS will keep the 9 hour. What a waste.

You also don't see new episodes of FMA:B. You would think with the extra hour, they'd have time to schedule that, but NOOOOO...Family Guy finally appears on Saturday nights December 18...until further notice. If I were a betting man, I'd say it's gonna get replaced by American Dad, but I'm not, so I'll shut up.
I probably shouldn't be complaining because we still have 6 hours of anime on Saturday nights, but still, I want my new premieres, darn it! Family Guy will bring the ratings, and we don't need a Boondocks Hour to come on afterwards. Hopefully when there ARE new episodes of FMA:B and/or IY:FA, some of those slots will be shuffled around...

They expanded a full hour longer just to air more of the same stuff over and over again?
Also, I don't see KOTH replacing InuYasha (Thankfully) or double Bleach on the schedule.
Also, Boo to Home Movies leaving for more KOTH. HM was one of the best things about weekdays.

You can say that again, Sketch.
The new changes are total bullshit! Why the hell would they remove Home Movies (One of the block's most beloved classics) just so they can shove more KOTH reruns down our throats? And do we really need FG on Saturdays? Whatever they put on that night is just gonna suffer due to college teens going out on dates or something.
Squids on Sundays I can understand because of upcoming premieres, but I don't expect strong ratings for 10 o clock reruns.
And if they're determined to double up on so many Fox reruns, then they should at least axe the repeat block on at least one night (Other than saturdays) so other fans can still get a taste of their shows.
I hope this new schedule fails bigtime.

Yay I just realized I made a few typos
sorry.
I personally think this new schedule is OK...
But I'm disappointed that Fridays are like ever other night of the week ![]()
and I'm also disappointed there is no more death slot Home Movies [or Space Ghost]
Christmas marathons are always a nice little way to change things up a little,
so I'm happy about that
Disappointed no Baby Blues or Mighty Boosh are on the schedule [I'm in the mood to watch them]
I'm disappointed that it appears [as] isn't doing anything special
for New Years or ATHF's 10 ANNIVERSARY on 12/30/10
but hopefully they will do something after all
I also think that Moral Orel won't last 2 weeks on Sundays,
I say that because Orel was supposed to air after the new episodes of Frankenhole,
but was replaced with Robot Chicken after 2 weeks
I'm not super interested in God, the Devil and Bob, but I'll give it a chance

They're premiering a comedy sitcom on Saturdays? What is this, the rapture?
Assuming Hank doesn't manage to wrestle the 5am slot away from a certain half-demon (I dare you to imagine that without laughing), Saturdays will be exactly the same as they are now after midnight. So, none of this really affects me personally. Replacing American Dad on Saturdays, though... I dunno. We'll just have to find out, I suppose. Family Guy only gets good ratings when people know it's there, so I suspect it will get only subpar ratings in the 10:30 slot. 500k, maybe.

I can say that, with a straight face. Heck I can do it while doing an impression of Hank.
Figured you'd see no issues as there's no action split and other than maybe losing Inuyasha Saturday anime see's no changes. Sure would be nice to get some new FMA: B though. It's been plenty long enough but they're probably waiting until either Bleach or Kekkaishi has no more premieres available.
I imagine they'll let the viewers know FG is going to be on Saturday because they'd want that to succeed and even if they don't advertise I'd expect FG to do as well or better than American Dad but the 10:30PM slot wont be doing it any favors. It'll still probably beat Boondocks and Bleach though.

I'm sure it will. But the three combined aren't likely to hold a candle to the winning streak that American Dad has had, in my opinion.
Ever think that [adult swim] occasionally makes important financial and networking decisions randomly just because they love to fuck with us?

I'm in complete agreement that this new line-up is unlikely top American Dad's winning streak lately. Probably wont be long before Boondocks is switch back out for American Dad or perhaps they'll try AD at 10PM like weekdays once Bob the Devil and God flops and FG doesn't meet expecations (because they never like to waste Family Guy on bad slots).
And yeah... there's more than adequate proof they just like to s.crew with their viewers.
Too bad they didn't have the hindsight to consider Bleach and other anime reruns for the 9 hour but that's WS for you.
