First off: Yes, I kind of phoned some of the schedule business in. It was way more tedious than I anticipated (and I did anticipate a fair share of tediousness) and I regret posting it and instead should put placed a giant arrow that just read "JUST CLICK THE LINK!" butttttttt. hindsight, 20/20, yadda yadda.

Second: Opinion

Stretching some of the Xmas-ness over the week actually makes for a watchable schedule throughout the week!

However: They are airing three episodes of Family Guy that aren't X-mas related outside of a few cutaways, but they aren't airing "Road to North Pole", the hour long Family Guy Christmas episode? That doesn't make any sense.

Also: American Dad is the KING of awesome Christmas episodes, but they aren't airing all of them! "Raptures Delight" and "For Whom the Sleigh Bell Tolls" are actually two of my favorite American Dad episodes (Raptures Delight IS my favorite), and it's a shame that they aren't airing.

Other than that, eh, it's pretty nice.

Yay, Bleach repeats. I have missed so much Bleach. I'm not that sad about missing Bleach, but it's nice to be able to catch up anyways.

All the Christmas episodes and new China, IL and all that great stuff is really exciting. I wish they would show more than just the Christmas episodes of a lot of this stuff, but still fantastic to finally have some variety on the weeknight schedule. China, IL replacing Robot Chicken for a little bit is also going to be amazing. Even if it's just the same episode on repeat.

My only complaint is that there is no justification for ever airing Fat Guy Stuck in Internet ever again ever. Because if I've learned anything through my years of posting here, it's that if I don't like something I am 100% entitled to having AS never air it.

Is the length of "Man Milk" a mistake? Or is it actually a 30-minute episode and I forgot?

It was double-length, being the series finale and all.

I should pop you right in your pecker for forgetting.

I find the Assy McGee episode and "Business Guy" odd choices, since both of them have nothing to do with Christmas aside from a visual gag in the former and a cutaway in the latter.

A Bleach marathon is like getting coal in your stockings.

like i said, one day you will "know" all about god (and his wrath) anyway. but keep watching your animes.

Anime fans are quite literally and figuratively getting nothing for Christmas from Adult Swim but Bleach.

January's schedule shows no premieres for ASA other than Bleach.

And a Star Wars night (complete with airings of the CGI Clone Wars series for the first time on AS since I think 2010). That will also be the first Saturday with a comedy encore in ages.

http://www.adultswim.com/schedule/onair.html

On the bright side Brak and Sealab are back on DVR Theater and those pining for Tim and Eric get their fix at the expense of Moral Orel.

Also a British Office marathon on January 15th. I think they might be losing the rights.

HELPeR for the TOONAMI, Mobile Suit Gundam, Dragon Ball Z, Harvey Birdman and Perfect Hair Forever boards. Feel free to ask me anything on those topics.

Oh man, those are awesome schedule changes. Brak, Sealab, NEW DELOCATED and... Darn, they're replacing Moral Orel. :smileysad:

Also what the heck is up with February 4th? I can't imagine a more boring and inappropriate Saturday schedule. On the flip side, the almost as weird January 15th Sunday looks pretty awesome. The Office marathon!

Star Wars night I guess.

Why?

Because Adult Swim ****'N LOVES STAR WARS and this only proves it further.

It's also a good chance shake up the schedule in February but if that was their plan all along it seems pointless to move DRR and FMA:B in January. So I'm guessing they just wanted to celebrate Star Wars because of this. http://www.fandango.com/starwars:episodeithephantommenace3d_14251

That has to be why.  And Saturdays seems to be the most dispensable night with less contracted shows to have to air. :smileytongue:

Apparently [as] called an audible because King of the Hill is on at 9pm tonight.
Maybe [as] was told by S&P that Venture Bros @ 9p was a no-go.

Someone wanna tell me why Adult Swim has the 9pm hour if all they can show are King of the Hill reruns?

This Saturday night, it's a heavyweight collision! Newly crowned UFC Heavyweight Champion Junior Dos Santos, fresh off of his 1st round knockout victory over Cain Velasquez on Fox, returns to the Octagon to battle submission specialist Frank Mir in an all heavyweight card! Cain attempts to bounce back from his devastating loss against Brazilian wrecking machine Antonio "Bigfoot" Silva! Plus, Jason "Mayhem" Miller returns on the FX Prelim show to battle CB Dolloway! The action starts 8pm on FX and 10pm on PPV! I mean, what the hell else would you watch?

Why not?  If they're going to air KOTH 7 days, then it should be on at the same time every day to cater to those fans who do like it, even though it is a small group.

I like King of the Hill, but at this point...it's safe to say Cartoon Network proper could use the time better.

They could show other stuff, but it wouldn't get as good ratings. King of the Hill repeats do very well relative to most other shows that are trying to compete with 9:00pm prime time. They have aired Venture Bros in the 9:00pm slot before, but it did very poorly so maybe that's why they're reluctant to change things up.

Yeah I understand Venture is no good for 9PM though now it has no time slot while Robot Chicken and Squidbiliies both get 3 episodes that all encore.

But what I'm really disapointed about is this is the second time Adult Swim has teased a prime time slot for Birdman on Sunday only to once again choose Squidbillies instead.

Man this Sunday schedule just keeps getting more mundane. I'm just going to watch Frankenhole and Metalocalypse for now.

So this means Venture won't be on the lineup at all for now. That blows! I know the show doesn't get good ratings in reruns, but that doesn't stop them from airing Children's Hospital reruns over and over again (Before new episodes of Robot Chicken even).

I'm still not disappointed, though. Tonight's Frankenhole with the Vampire Hunter was pretty good.

How would you like a Rusty Venture?
There are 5 original seasons of Futurama, not 4.

Also, KOTH isn't as risque as Venture. I just wish VB had a timeslot at all. Maybe reruns will return when it premieres again (Whenever that is).
