Deadman Wonderland is new. Not only that, but it's filled with action, fanservice, an intriguing plot, basically all the things you've always complained about Adult Swim anime lacking. And now you're not happy they made that big move in the right direction? And you're focusing on Bebop reruns? Which like them or not are still getting better ratings than Eric Andre? Of the the few shows they have the rights to air, what you rather they be playing? Overplayed FLCL? Overplayed Big O Season 2? Inuyasha? Your loathed Kekkaishi and Durarara? Face it, given the limited resources, Toonami's line-up is pretty good. Two new shows, and two very different shows so if you don't like one, you'll hopefully like the other.

I totally agree that the complainers need to be more grateful about Toonami coming back. They tried all they could, spent as much money as they could, made promos and banners and crap and purchased 3 premieres. The least they could do is be more appreciative (Or simply not watch). Another thing that it all boils down to is, yes, Toonami is using fanboys/girls to get ratings for their action block. Well, hello, complainers! Cartoon Network was doing the same thing when they had their block. Its called business and part of owning a business is using people's intrest to your advantage. Toonami is not , and never was, a free lunch. CN used it to make money from action fans and [AS] is doing the same thing. I like Tenchi, Sailor Moon, Dragon Ball/Z and Naruto just as much as the next guy, but [AS]'s version of Toonami just isn't operating with a lot of this *Rubs fingers together*. You may not like it, complainers, but thats life. Plus, for a starter block with limited funds, the block we have now is pretty friggin cool. When was the last time ASA ever even had two new shows premiere at once. They promised to bring back Toonami, not specific shows from Toonami. Its an action block, not a nostalgia block.

One thing that is certain and true: Toonami's back, b#tches! Believe it!

They have one show I don't hate, and it's very short.  Hell, it's not even the most original concept, since it's friggin Superjail.

Everything else is just terrible.  The same crap as before. Reruns exhausted beyond watchbility, and shows that are slow plodding crap.

Also, Eric Andre is way better than Casshern Sins and it's a shame no one is giving it a chance.  Maybe they should have went with Russell Brand.

It is NOT a #### privledge!  DVD's are a prilvlege!  This is a service.  And if people don't like the service, they have every right to not watch.  How would you feel if you went to a restaurant, an #### waiter served you something you hated and when you complained he went "Eating here is a privlege"?  You'd never go there again.

Television is based on satisfying the will of the mass audience, NOT the other way around!

and where did i do this? i really don't care what they show. i don't watch [as] at all anymore. what i do care about is people telling other people how they should feel about something just because those people don't think the same way as the others

Alright, look. I came back to the boards as a regular not just to chit chat about a whole bunch of cartoons, but because I care about anime fans and our big happy board family a lot. If Toonami dies because of the number of people who didn't want to support it because they were too angry with what they are airing and people start crying because of it's second loss, then thats it for that family. The boards will be right back where they were before. Dull, boring, lifeless and/or controversial.

I will admit that not every cartoon airing on Toonami is one that I really like (Brotherhood, GITS), but I also new full well from the getco that this was a block made for action fans, not just me. What I was really looking forward to in Toonami was the joy and happiness and friendship from anime fans (Hell, I' m a certain type of anime fan msyelf).

I'm not telling people how to feel about anything. I don't give a rats ass what they like and don't like. All I was trying to say is the way they fought to bring back their beloved anime block was really passionate and cool. Giving it grief just because things didn't go exactly their way with the block isn't a good start towards ensuring the block's lovegevity.

I'll put it this way. A person gives you a gift for X-Mas (Although you know full well that you can just get what you want from the store with your own money by yourself). You don't have to like the gift and nobody can stop you from even complaining about it. Just don't be suprised if the person never gets you anything at all because of how you reacted. If a person goes out of their way and spends money on a gift for you and all you do is complain about what you received, do you really deserve any gift at all?

Honestly I think I sound too boyish to really sound... sexy. Like I don't have the right voice for a late night DJ but a pretty good one for announcers in commericals and stuff. I'd love to have that job but I digress.

People have always complained about Toonami's line-up being "not good enough". That is far from a new thing. Nobody is forcing them to watch. Theoretically if these shows don't pan out they might actually consider the possibility it was the show choices and not Toonami as a whole. But if Toonami doesn't pan out then AS will have a hard time convincing their advertisers and the higher ups at Turner that Toonami is worth the effort and money.

I care about anime and it's fans. If complainers wanna kill the very block they fought to save in the first place just because they want to be picky, then that's their fault. Not mine and not your's, but their's.
