I thought that was really weird, how CH got more total viewers than Futurama. It's just one data point, though--last week, Futurama out-rated CH among all viewers.

It sorta makes me wonder, though, if the show appeals to anyone over 49. If my dad (50+) enjoys CH, he can't be the only oldster that does.

I'm pretty sure all old-folks homes have CH turned on every Thursday night.

Of course they do. Do you remember the old-school AS bumps with old people in the pool? Clearly they have always been aiming the network at the 65+ demo.

It's an untapped market, so of course AS would go for it.

Oh yeah. And it looks like CH is rating among the top cable programs all night. I'm not expecting blockbuster success, but the show certainly holds its own against its cable competition.

People are even keeping the TV on for Eagleheart and ATHF reruns, which appear to be doing rather well.

Well, CH stayed at 0.6, and Futurama faired similarly as well.

But I found this in one of the comments:

Coming off a 0.6, that does seem pretty disappointing. I'm hoping ratings will pick up after a few episodes once people realize what they're missing out on.

0.83 in A18-34 translates to 569,878 viewers in the demo. Not astounding but solid. And once again, CH outrated Futurama in total viewers. There really must be older people watching.

Meanwhile, NTSF's 0.55 translates to 377,630 viewers. Not so good. But IIRC Childrens Hospital didn't catch on right away either.

Yay, NTSFUVD's ratings are up! I know they're still not that great, but so long as they improve a bit week to week I think it could catch on and get a second season.

Moving this sounds fine to me. It'd be cool to get some more varied opinions on the ratings.

NTSF's ratings went up again. 0.7 in 18-34 is more like it. Still not great, but hopefully it keeps getting better.

Meanwhile, CH had a good night, getting near a 0.9 in A18-34, and it continues to draw more total viewers than Futurama.

I like that NTSFDUV's 18-34 ratings are well on their way to being double what the premier's were. Though interestingly it seems like the show is dropping people outside of that demographic pretty fast, too.

I still can't believe Jersey Shore got over 2 times the 18-49 viewers of any other show that night.

Also, NTSFDUV has been getting better ratings than Ugly Americans, for whatever that's worth. I think it has the ratings to pull off a second season.

Childrens Hospital continues to have strong numbers, but unfortunately NTSFDUV:: dropped below 400K. Not good, not good.

I continue to be shocked that CH is kicking Futurama's ass.
