Hopefully, this will also mean some shows will be guaranteed renewal besides live action.

Frankehole, I will say, has had some priceless moments in it's recent season. I'm not making any fake news for season 3, though. It could be Orel all over again if they deny Dino creative freedom.
China' Il (Which I find to be OK), however, I have faith in. [AS] has already expressed intrest in season 2 and there are even rumors that its been double renewed.
Metal has a very strong cult following and a ton of merchandise. If it gets renewed, I woudn't be the least bit suprised.

Reposting my thoughts from General AS Discussion:
Untitled Animated Harold & Kumar Project (Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg)
A Lionsgate-produced animated version of the eponymous stoner comedy series.
You know, I kind of like these movies. Clerks made an adequate cartoon, so maybe this has a shot at being enjoyable.
Rick & Morty (Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland)
A genius inventor and his less-than-genius grandson and the life journeys they share.
Community is pretty well-liked around here. I've never seen it but I'm willing to give that one a shot.
Colonel Wallace (Greg Cohen)
The 15-minute project from that centers on an eccentric Southern fried chicken magnate and his adventures with his family.
Cohen has written a couple of Eagleheart episodes and worked on Demitri Martin's show and King of the Hill. A show about a "fried chicken magnate" sounds lame, but pilots often change a lot before making it to series. I feel positive about this one.
Coffin Dodgers (Dave Silverstein and Matt Jeser)
A half-hour project about misfit grumps who get into Animal House-style trouble at a cozy suburban retirement home.
I don't really like anything the Drawn Together guys have worked on.
Green Bench: The American Day Dream
A group of friends have pooled their money to buy a large office space for their business. The only problem is they haven’t quite figured out what that business is. In the meantime, it’s an awesome headquarters where their petty, self-centered and mischievous minds can wander.
No idea about this. I've never heard of Green Bench.
Freestyle Love Supreme
The half-hour live-action comedy from Ars Nova (Black Dynamite, In the Heights) revolves around IT guys who work on their freestyle rapping at the office, much to the annoyance of their co-workers.
I don't know how this concept translates into a TV series.
King Star King (JJ Villard and Eric Kaplan)
A 15-minute animated pilot about a modern-day He-man who’s half-warrior, half-idiot.
As far as Eric Kaplan is concerned, he was involved with Big Bang Theory, Drinky Crow, MWA, Malcolm in the Middle, and Futurama. So.... sporadic success there. Maybe there's hope.
Rolling With Dad (Seth Grahame-Smith, David Katzenberg)
The half-hour animated effort centers on a brilliant but disabled man dealing with his much less intelligent family.
No idea about this one either.

That's alot of new shows.
Oh wait, they're just pilots. Wake me up when one of them gets greenlighted to series (if any), then I'll have my say. Rolling with Dad and the Dan Harmon show were announced at last year's upfronts, I remember.

Ah, adequacy. The goal of every animated comedy.

Speaking as one who has only recently gotten into Community, I think you should give the show a shot. There's a very good reason why it's so beloved.Rick & Morty (Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland)

Harold & Kumar - Gross, I can't see myself ever wanting to see this.
Rick & Morty - Could be interesting. I feel like "kid getting in trouble with weird inventions that he doesn't know how to use" is a pretty easy concept to work with.
Colonel Wallace - This looks really promiisng. I like the 15 minute format better than the 30 minute format, and Greg Cohen has great credentials by the looks of it.
Coffin Dodgers - I like Drawn Together a lot, and the concept seems funny, I think it will be a good show.
Green Bench: The American Day Dream - I'm warry of anything based off an internet sketch comedy, but the concept doesn't seem too bad.
Freestyle Love Supreme - I think these guys actually do live comedy shows, which makes me think there's something to this, even though the concept seems weird for a series.
King Star King - Concept doesn't sound too funny, and gross Big Bang Theory. But Drinky Crow was a really funny show, so I don't know, maybe Eric Kaplan will make it work.
Rolling With Dad - The Hard Times of RJ Burger was an awful show. The predominating joke in this show better not be that the disabled guy has an abnormally large penis.

Well, I've only seen the second half of season three, but it was cool and interesting enough that I bought the first two seasons on DVD so I could catch up over the summer. And from what I've heard, it does take a little while to warm up, so you might want to keep that in mind while you're watching it.
itsacoaster wrote:I watched the first two episodes (actually, the second two episodes, I skipped the pilot) of Community and I don't think I've laughed once. So many people love it, so I'm gonna keep watching, but so far it feels kind of generic.

If Harold and Kumar animated is like futurama movies or Anime OVA's with one stoeyline broken down between 5 or 6 episodes it could work.
But if each episode is a differnt story line like the Clerks animation, then it will fail.

Looks like Rick and Morty has been picked up: Starburns Industries posted this on their Facebook: "Huge congrats to Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland for the pick up on Rick and Morty. Thanks Mike Lazzo and everyone at Adult Swim."
So expect it around, 2015? I guess? (it'll take a while is the, uh, main point....of um, what I said there)

Last season? What are you talking about? Metalocalypse will continue in some..... format. (Brendon did say he only wanted to do five seasons, so there's gonna be at least one more)
