No [adult swim] DVD releases in Australia for August 2012...

Tim and Eric Series 5 would have been long over by the end of August on COMEDY CHANNEL! So would Stroker & Hoop! Though I can understand why Stroker & Hoop would take so long (World Exclusive DVD) but Tim & Eric has been out since last year in May I think in the US.

On COMEDY CHANNEL, Delocated wasn't on last Saturday night, a Robot Chicken Series 5 repeat was. I think they are probably going to be like this until Tim & Eric Series 5 ends and then Delocated Series 2 will air in the 10pm slot. Though you can't tell what is actually going to be on because they list all the [adult swim] shows as one program in the TV Guide/FOXTEL IQ. And in the description, they list Robot Chicken before Stroker & Hoop and still list Delocated.

And for those who want to know here's what other [adult swim] shows we've had in the past on Comedy Channel: Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law and Moral Orel.

We used to have [adult swim] on CARTOON NETWORK before they took it off and the block came to Comedy Channel in 2008. We had more shows then: Space Ghost Coast to Coast, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Sealab 2021, Harvey Birdman - Attorney at Law, The Venture Bros., Tom Goes To The Mayor, and Squidbillies.

I miss SGhost, Sealab, and HB so much... Sealab and Space Ghost are two of my favorite shows

I think it's going to be the Tim & Eric movie in cinemas (even though it's not technically [as]), the long awaited DVD releases, and probably something to do with the Tim & Eric tour. Can't really think of what else they would do.

Those all seem like likely candidates. I hope it's something that isn't those, but goes along with those (because we kinda already know those were happening, well, except the DVD releases, seriously they should start releasing it again).

I hope one day they're able to bring the creators of the Venture Bros down for a convention, (like they did for Dave Willis and Dana Snyder which I missed because I found out when it was too late, Seth Green Matthew Senreich and Tom Root which I remember being late for and not being able to stay to get my DVDs signed - also that time they brought down Brendon Small for a thing which I missed)

No [as] DVD releases for September 2012... But don't fret! I emailed Daniel from Madman Ent on the weekend and he replied to me today and said that some cool things will be happening for [as]. Around the time of the Tim & Eric tour, the Tim & Eric movie will come out. And in November they (Madman) got something cool planned which will happen with the [as] titles.

Also Daniel said that the Delocated DVD release has been delayed as they "wait for it to get a bit of traction on Australian TV".

I would say we probably won't get any DVD releases until perhaps November if that is the "cool" thing planned with the [as] titles but i'm thinking it will be something else.

I was thinking they'd do this, it makes a lot of sense marketing wise to do so.

So, we shall all keep an eye on Novebmer for what these mad men at Madman have planned. How far long is Delocated, last time I looked Comedy Channel was just beginning to air the second season. And I haven't been following it, but did they take off Metalocalyse halfway through it's second season, it seems like it.

Yeah, they did take Metalocalypse off after Episode 10 of Series 2, but I read in the Foxtel Magazine for July that it will be returning in half-hours after Stroker and Hoop ends. So that will either be new episodes or repeats of the previous Season 1 and first 10 Season 2 episodes.

Last week's Delocated episode (Jun 30th) was "Dog Mayor".

Also they are repeating Series 5 of ATHF at 9:15pm. I think they should have moved on to Series 6 and on because I would really like it if we were up to date with Aqua Teen.

Got the August FOXTEL magazine, here is the new line-up for Aug 25 (Saturday Night) on COMEDY CHANNEL:

21:00pm Aqua Teen Hunger Force (NEW - I assume it is Season 6).
21:15pm Metalocalypse (NEW - Should be continuing on from Episode 11 of Season 2).
21:30pm Robot Chicken (NEW - Hmm... not sure if this will air in the US by then but the title is in red and suggesting it is the season premiere. I read on wikipedia that Season 6 starts airing Sep 2 in the US though.)
21:45pm Mary Shelley's Frankenhole (NEW - This will most likely be the premiere of Season Two! :smileyvery-happy: )
22:00pm Delocated (NEW - They will be up to the episode "David's Girlfriend" on this date hopefully they continue on to Season Three.)

Two And A Half Men is coming to COMEDY from Aug 6 replacing the 8:30am slot for AS shows. :smileysad: Ugh... It was on Arena, then FOX8, now COMEDY... Should have just stayed on FOX8. :smileysad:

Also, for the Archer fans, It looks like the Season 3 Pay TV premiere starts the same night at 8:30pm just before AS.

Found out that the 8:30am AS slot is now moved to a new 1:00am slot from Aug 6 Mon (Sunday Night). It is weeknightly. It continues with ATHF and Metalocalypse.

I think this slot will be a great opportunity to screen the older AS shows here. I doubt ratings would matter that much at 1:00am so there is really nothing to lose.

I suggest to the Aussie AS fans to email, tweet, facebook Comedy Channel to ask for the classic AS shows you would like to see at 1:00am. If you want to of course! I think the more people who do this means a greater chance that we'll be heard. Thanks!

I wonder if people in Australia think this Craigslist video is funny or if it's only funny for people in the US.  Thoughts here?

In a post I made before I said that there will be a new line-up for [adult swim] on August 25. It said this in the Foxtel August TV Guide. Now it looks like that is not the case.

On Aug 25, it looks like this:

21:00pm Mary Shelley's Frankenhole (Likely repeating from Series 1, Episode 1 "LBJFK".)
21:15pm Aqua Teen Hunger Force (Should be a repeat of "Bible Fruit".)
21:30pm Metalocalypse (Dethvengance + Dethdoubles... AGAIN even though these first Series Two 10 episodes are repeating at 1am weeknights...)
22:00pm Delocated (NEW - David's Girlfriend)

I would say that they are delaying the lineup probably due to Robot Chicken Season 6 not starting until Sep 2 in the US. I predict the new lineup will start Sep 8 here. It would work out with the premiere of Season 3 of Delocated if they decide to screen Season 3 as Season 2 would have finished the previous week.

Also, I think they should put Childrens Hospital Season 4 in the Saturday line-up somewhere too. I would like to see that fastracked.

i heard that Robot Chicken Season 6 wasn't going to premiere until September 16th, with the DC special RC/DC premiering a week earlier - if they are going to fast-track the sixth season, probably the 22nd, depending on actually is going on.

I just was going by Robot Chicken's wikipedia page, we shall see when the "future on tv" adult swim schedule updates. With the Robot Chicken DC special I think that would probably not be aired first ahead of Season 6 if COMEDY decides to hold it for a special event, etc. They did this with Robot Chicken Star Wars 3/Season 5. Also I think Madman likes to have these specials direct-to-dvd first.

It #### that there probably won't be any new content until Robot Chicken Season 6 starts unless they decide to screen Delocated Series 3 Premiere on the 8th. They have repeated the first ten episodes of Metalocalypse Season Two alot now, they should have screened the second half by now.

I can't wait to see what the "cool" thing Madman is going to do for [adult swim] in November. I am really hoping it is releasing the shows onto the Itunes Australian Store. I think it would be really cool if we could get episodes as soon as they are released in the American Itunes Store. Also the older shows - 12 Oz. Mouse as episodes, missing Space Ghost episodes not on DVD, unreleased shows on DVD.

September 1st has been updated in the FOXTEL Online Guide and [adult swim] has been removed from Saturday nights... there are repeats of Frankenhole, ATHF, and Delocated earlier in the day from 3:45pm EST until 4:40pm.

I have not yet received the FOXTEL September magazine so I can't see if they moved it to another night but...

Edited due to me jumping the gun a bit....

OK, firstly huge apology to COMEDY CHANNEL for my previous post... I had jumped the gun a bit...

[adult swim] has indeed went to a new night - Sundays from September 2nd at 9:55pm EST.

Here is the new line-up on Sep 2:
9:55pm ATHF: Gene E. (New Season 6 Premiere)
10:10pm Metalocalypse: Dethrace (New Season 2 returns)
10:25pm Check It Out! With Dr. Steve Brule: Health (NEW SEASON PREMIERE)
10:40pm Tim and Eric: Dads (Repeat)
10:55pm Delocated: Coma (Season 2 Final)

OK! We got a new show! Tim & Eric spin-off: Dr. Steve Brule. Not happy about the Tim & Eric repeat of Series 1 though, but oh well! It will be interesting to see if they continue with new Delocated Series 3 the next week, most likely as Delocated is moved to a new night.

I do hope new Childrens Hospital and Robot Chicken make it's way soon to the line-up. Why new night? A bit weird that it is versing the animation on FOX8. Though there are only 3 shows now and only 1 is new - Futurama.

Hey yall, haven't replied here for quite a while, even tho i do check occasionaly whats happening here, good to know that Frankenhole made a TV debut, its an excellent show (though i did feel a bit disapointed when i watched/torrented the 2nd season, but thats another story) I hope you all got your T&E tixs!

Anyway, i found something juicy on the Madboards that i think you all will possibly like or hate.

http://madboards.madman.com.au/viewtopic.php?t=26424&start=1650

Madman are re-releasing almost all the Adult Swim shows as entire collections, with new boxart and everything.

So far the ones confirmed here are

ATHF: S1-8
Frisky Dingo
Moral Orel (artwork looks fantastic)
Space Ghost C2C (says its the All Talk Collection, so im curious and yet doubtful if it will include the last episodes of SGC2C)
Squidbillies S1-3 (S4 is absent, possibly going to be released as a standalone, but nothing is mentioned)
Brak Show
Venture Bros S1-4 (again, awesome artwork, if its released with S4, i can imagine theres going to be a big black R box on it. side note: I wish they bought down the blu-ray versions)
Adult Swim Meat Tray Collection (not much info said, but if you look closely you'll see the logos, of TGTTM, L,DOTD and  Skillet from 12 Oz Mouse)
Robot Chicken S1-5
Sealab S1-4 (ykno, i would've thought given the success of Archer and Frisky Dingo surely Sealab would of premiered already)

And incase you are wondering whenever Madman has stop releasing single season DVDs, rest assured that Tim And Eric Season 5 is confirmed aswell, there is a bonus on it too, just go take a good look :smileyhappy:

None of these have dates and the post was made in August, this just confirms that these releases exists and will be announced sooner or later, so its kinda like an offical thread of spoiler alerts.

Questions aside, like no big Harvey Birdman or Metalocalypse collection, where's Delocated, Squidbillies S4 and the future of Adult Swim DVDs in general, i'm pretty pumped about this, even if i already have most of the single collections, this is a grat oppotunity for new fans to jump on without having to spend too much money, gives a sense of elitism for those that do that the single collections, and makes a good gift too :smileyvery-happy:.

BONUS: Adventure Time season 1 is confirmed aswell, unlike the other releases, which were just random collections, this "proper" release is more aimed at the fans who want their Adventure Time in chronological order and filled with special featues, also, the artwork is much better.
