It's that time of the year again, folks.

The place were expectations are hyped to its max and the dreams of fanboys come crashing down from orbit. First to start is Microsoft's E3 conference which will start in about 10 minutes. What will Microsoft introduce to us? More Halo 4 surprises? That Gears of War prequel? Will they announce their new next-gen tech? Will they show us again the bottom of an Avatar's shoe? Stay tuned.

After Microsoft's conference, there will be other conferences coming from EA, Ubisoft, and Sony respectively. It's time for the hype train to roll on out!

Spike secured exclusive TV broadcast rights to a lot of the big stuff, including Microsoft's conference.

G4 really is becoming less and less relevant.

Well, G4TV seems to be streaming it live on their website....I guess the just couldn't bare to get rid of Campus PD for the day.

Phil Spencer of Microsoft has just announced this year's Summer of Arcade event on Spike TV's E3 pre-show. The following games to be included in this event are:

• Hybrid
• Deadlight
• Tony Hawk Pro Skater HD
• Wreckateer
• Dust: An Elysian Tail

Yep. While it was leaked, Splinter Cell: Blacklist has been officially unveiled. I heard it's the sequel to Conviction. I hope it doesn't play like it though.

I can't watch any of the live streams. Are the people live-demoing the games making asses of themselves? I remember the Kinect E3, and how hilarious all that was.

Not yet, they haven't shown any live demos for Kinect games so far. I'm sure it's coming though.
