The debut trailer, what you see is all gameplay taken from the spectator camera, the actual game will be a FPS.

The really amazing thing? This is from a small indie studio no one has even heard of.

wow...

granted its a work in progress, those animations were horrid.  and not showing the gameplay from the first person perspective leaves me completely unable to judge if its good or bad.  probably really bad at least currently and they didnt want anybody to see it.  though why they showed the gameplay at all i have to wonder if its so incomplete. 

scenery is cool though... but thats not enough to make me interested.  especially after those horrid... HORRID animations.

I wouldn't say the animations were horrid, it was really only the mechs while moving that looked "twitchy". The effects looked pretty good to me (missles, gunfire and scenery effects).

I'd still say its mighty impressive coming from a small company in 9 months. I'm looking forward to the FPS gameplay trailer.

I think the sole reason of showing the spectator cam gameplay was the scenery porn and that it will be like this in multiplayer matches.

surprisingly detailed cockpit/HUD at the very end.

reminds me of say, a faster paced Mechwarrior or like Gundam Side Story for the dreamcast.

Yeah...animation seems stuttery.

This has potential, though.

Also; Stephen Hawking should be in this game. I've always thought it would be cool if this guy had a battle mech.
