Really want to see the other party members though. The poster @ TGS showed some nice things.

No it doesn't make sense.

Kingdom Hearts has only had Disney, Final Fantasy, and Original characters created for it. It hasn't had any character from another series in it till this game.

Though I am excited about it. I'm wondering who else from TWEWY is in the game.

I'm hoping for a Nier world.

Where Donal Duck wears Kaines outfit and Goofy has a Grimoire Weiss Shield.

Also the enemies in the game are Dream Eaters.

Tetsuya Nomura is a man who loves his fanservice. I don't have a 3DS, though a TWEWY cameo in a KH game sounds pretty cool. Gotta get OOParts and Joshua's Jebus beams in there though

This. Seeing that blurry pic make me think that he's his former self...I really need to finish the game...it's been over 3 years since I left off...**beast** 3rd week. Why is Beat so hard to use?!

Of course it doesn't make sense in context like you just explained.

Not to mention he has every right to incorporate a new series into the KH franchise while he's still working on games for portable platforms.

But it makes sense that Nomura would include a character he did the concept design for in his game..Just like he's used other characters he's designed (Final Fantasy).

Dream Eaters sound interesting though. I'll have to work on getting a 3DS at some point.

Kingdom hearts was a series based around Disney and Final Fantasy cameos. Last time I checked TWEWY isn't a Final Fantasy game.

So? I don't recall anyone ever saying there could ONLY be Disney and FF cameos in the games. And has been mentioned, TWEWY is a SquareEnix game and was created by the same person that created KH.

Sure, it doesn't make that much sense if you use such a narrow way of thinking about it, but if you don't think about it like that, it makes plenty of it.

Vivi and Setzer weren't made by Nomura but are in Kingdom Hearts 2.

But if TWEWY can be in Kingdom Hearts then I hope this means Pixar Worlds will finally start being in the games.

• the monsters aren't Heartless, Nobody or Unversed, but a new monster type called "Dream eaters"
• There are bad and GOOD dream eaters.......apperently Bad ones need to be killed and Good ones can be raised as virtual Pets(similar to the Chao from sonic Adventure)
• Sora and Rikku revert in age when they go into Disney worlds the first time, apperently this is because
• the worlds they go to are actually "Dreams" of people from worlds that were destroyed, when they finish a world, it becomes a real world again
• "Neku" a character from Squeenix's "the world ends with you" is making a cameo appearance
• I don't really care about this but girls are grieving over it, Rikku's hair is short(er) now.....this is apperently to emphasize that he and Sora are older now 
• supposedly the game will have a shocking Twist ending....they haven't said what it is yet

I saw the trailer with the gameplay and it looks like the good dream eaters are going to be your allies while going through the dream worlds. Atleast, for a little bit. Also Sora and Riku are both going through the mark of mastery exams under Yen Sid. Yen Sid sends them off and says if you return I will consider you masters of the Keyblade. They showed at the end of the trailer the beginning of what happened after BBS with Xeanhort attacking Ansem and his apprentices. Probably a secret video leading into BBS2.

Depends on what you mean by lead up.

The story is the furthest along chronologically, dealing directly with the events that come after Sora gets the letter in the epilogue of KH2. Whether or not KH3 will take place immediately after this or if there will be another game (chronologically) is still to be seen.

All Nomura has said on it is that there will definitely be a secret movie pointing to the future of the series, as well as that the game will contain answers to those looking forward to KH3. That's obviously pretty vague though, as he could simply be referring to the overarching story that KH3 will deal with(we already know the jist of that though)

It's also worth noting that the Final Mix of BBS's secret movie pointed to the possibility of a BBS: Volume 2, which will certainly have a big impact on KH3's story if it's made.

See, they made this sh*t way too convoluted. They didn't need to make all those lame handheld spin-offs or anything else-- just keep it simple and add to the actual plot with an actual numbered installment. And I'm not saying KH is the first to do this, but **beast**, man; they're going all Star Wars-ey and now it's getting as complicated as Metal Gear Solid.

358/2 and Re:Coded is just too much extrapolation on small plot points. It's no wonder the latter was originally a cell phone game.

I don't know if it's quite at MGS levels yet, but KH has been overly convoluted since KH2. You can't really take the plot seriously anymore(could you ever?), so I just enjoy the ride.

I wouldn't say so: KH2 was about the same in the level of most sequels. Everything after made it lose the charm.

I agree with Blah with BBS being good enough to be considered as a numbered title.

But besides that, the handheld titles were pretty meh.
