Also i think im the only one who's still glad there are games being made for the PSP.

Release Date: JP: 17/05/2012. May 17th

1) New Elements

Loading Time greatly improved.
A fast-forward option will be included for event scenes, as per requested by the users in the prequel
On/Off Option to remember the memory of the cursor (possibly in menus)
Custom colours for menu windows.
Option to change the speeds of the battle, like “Speedy”, etc.
The scene from the new sceanrio has Tatsuya, a beautiful woman with long raven hair, who seems to be involved in the matter, and as well as a talking cat.

2) Meguro Shouji’s (Director) Comments:

In the previous game, we were trying to make the game easier and hence included the quest creation element. In Punishment, we’ll be taking this a step further.
The improved load speed as well as the high-speed behaviour of the game will make the game more enjoyable.
The gameplay element that will take over the quest creation is the new scenario from Satomi Tadashi.
The new animation opening will be handled by Madhouse
The game will include both the original and refined versions of the BGM.

3) Satomi Tadashi’s (Scenario Writer) Comments:

After the first Persona game, I had the impulse to write a story that isn’t just fluffy fun and happy endings, hence Persona 2 Innocent Sin/Eternal Punishment was born.
Initially, Persona focused on the story of a girl’s heart. In order to expand that universe, we also included an element of an inevitable battle against a certain “he”.
(A/N: I think he means here that they added a huge conflict to make the story more impactful.)
I thought it was a little too much at that time, but this time round, I took opportunity to rewrite the story using Persona 2’s protagonist, Tatsuya, and a woman who seems to be connected to him somehow.
(A/N: I’m not exactly sure what he meant in the beginning of this sentence, but I guess he meant that the story he was going to use was too dark to be used at that time?)
This original story will change everything you know about fighting Shadows. I hope you will enjoy it. It definitely won’t be pretty.
