On February 22nd, Sony launches it's new handheld console on the North American marketplace, called the PlayStation Vita. It comes into a marketplace now crowded with very competent mobile phone gaming, with a rush to the bottom strategy with gaming prices, and a surging push from handheld gaming mainstay Nintendo in the 3DS.
It features a 5 inch OLED multi-touch screen, dual analog sticks, a rear touch screen, and graphical prowess that compares very favorably to current-gen consoles.
Some of the launch games include Uncharted and Hot Shots Golf.
I have some questions for you General Gaming.
Do you think there is room for another gaming platform in this space, and is there a niche or a need that the Vita is reaching that isn't already met?
Are you interested in the device, and if not at launch, do you think you would purchase it later?
What would it take for you to buy it, or are you already sold?
