ZeniMax Online Studios and Bethesda will officially announce Elder Scrolls Online in May 2012. The game will take place in Morrowind, Cyrodiil, and Skyrim during the time of the 2nd era which lasted for 896 years. Events in the MMO are said to fallow the timeline per-established in the 2nd era such as the rise of Talos/tiber septum. (some events of the 2nd era)
The events of Elder Scrolls Skyrim took place during the 4th era into it's 200th year. The Third era lasted 433 years so that means that this game will take place over 1000 years ago from the events of Skyrim.

I wonder how it will look. I doubt anything like the current games. Possibly like 3rd person view wow style.

Don't play with teenagers or adults with Peter Pan syndrome.

If the shoe fits. I have no idea how you came up with that conclusion.

I doubt this highly. Todd Howard said he's not interested in MMOs in this article here:

le-glitches-mmos-and-when-big-i/
On top of that there would be no modding support...
I'd be interested if it happened, but I'd prefer TES to remain the way it has been over building an MMO.

That was made before Skyrim even came out. However a lot of stuff has changed since then even talks of a Fallout mmo.

Skyrim only came out a few months later, they were already nearly done with development when that interview took place.
I'm not really sure what you're talking about with the Fallout MMO. Bethesda secured the rights to one after Interplay failed to do much of anything for years, but that doesn't mean Bethesda will suddenly decide to develop one. And even if they did that would be even more reason for there "not" to be a TES MMO, as competing with yourself is generally not a good business practice.
There was an article on gameinformer about it a while ago that bethesda was looking for mmo staff after securing the rights for the fallout franchise. It's somewhat a different demographic as not everyone who likes Elder Scrolls likes Fallout and vice versa, so it's not like they are competing against themselves. Blizzard has out a few successful games and they aren't having any problems.
