Deus ex, just got to versalife labs.

titan quest, thinking about making a fire warrior guy

Morrowind. I have found the mods I want (that boost graphics for all model bodies, most armor and buildings and junk plus distance) now I just have to figure out how to install them. played it a little and realy like what I saw. but really want to play the entire thing with the mods.

bit of heroes of might and magic 3/4here and there.

I've been playing uncharted: drake fortune but I've been stuck @ the part where you ride a wave runner...errrrrr.

Now its question time....

I bought some old school nes games from the wii game channel but is there anyway to save them onto something such sd card for a backup incase my system bites the big one?

I know its random but I've been wondering this for awhile and I didn't see a problem gaming system thread anywhere around.

Playing ACII DLC

Then planning to revisit Uncharted 2 and get the rest of the treasures, got about 40 more to go. Then I'd just need to beat it on Crushing and I would get the platinum.

Now, if I could only muster up some enthusiasm to replay inFamous, get all the shards and beat it on hard mode is all I need for the platinum. But fuuuuuudge that, inFamous has just been full of tragedies for me when it comes to shard hunting that I rage quit after my 

third attempt.

Bioshock demo: I didn't like it that much. =/

Uncharted 2: Finally got back to online, but a week of not playing plus the new changes the 1.05 update brought to online really make a difference. I did horrible tonight.... Wanted to try my Marco Polo skin, but I was villain every time, except the last time. The team I was on lost 9-50 in that one, though.


*needs a lot more practice with the online 'enhancements'...*

Downloaded and played the two DLC for Assassin's Creed 2 tonight. Pretty good, not quite as good as the main game though. "Bonfire of the Vanities" is kinda like a challenge pack with a story, some tough missions involved. Pretty rewarding for completing them after 3 or 4 botched attempts, though on a few I had to restart for really stupid reasons.

Probably go back to Dragon Age tomorrow unless I feel like feather hunting.

Played the MW2 campaign for a while today... pretty sure I'm near the end. I was at teh white house, then I went into a bunker and quite for the evening. Fun stuff so far. I'm really surprised I've actually enjoyed playing this as I didn't really like the first one at all. Even more surprising is that I'm playing this on hardened instead of regular. Last game I wasn't very good at, even on regular. I'm kinda anxious to finish up this playthrough so I can try it on Veteran. I've died multiple times in this playthrough, but most of the time it's because I've just been stupid and not that the parts are hard. Getting into the White House has been the hardest thing so far, but after finding out where the cover was, I didn't have too much of a problem with it.

I'll finish up the game tomorrow and hopefully start on Veteran... though, from comments and whatnot, I doubt I'll be able to do it. >.<

Modern Warfare 2 on Veteran is actually a lot easier than previous Call of Duty games. The lack of scripted respawns and infinite enemy grenades made 90% of the campaign very passable. The only really hard parts were Favela, the top floor of the oil rig, and that first section of the White House level.

Well... suppose that's a good thing, though also kinda sad. Top floor of the oil rig is when you have to use the thermal, right? I think that part would have been much harder if they'd have given you a time limit to get to the hostages... which would make sense since the bad guys know you are coming. I don't forsee that being too hard, I didn't have much problem with it. I'd forgotten about Favela, that one could pose some problems. 

Also, wow, that part in the airport.... I saw someone else playing it and didn't think much of it, but when you play it.... it's much different. It just left a bad taste in my mouth. The parts where you are in the US fighting were also pretty crazy. If there were ever a war in the states, it'd be pretty damned gruesome. Not to say they aren't in other places, but I dunno, I guess it just seems like it's worse when it's in your own backyard. 

Only complaint I really have about the game is that half the time your team is good about covering you and other times.... they just completely fail you. Inconsistent coverage is annoying. >.< Also, there's not enough time to just observe the scenery. >.>

The airport scene didn't really bother me. I just didn't see the point of it being in the game other than to cause controversy.

They could've just as easily done all of that in a cutscene.

As for the fighting in Virginia, I thought it was pretty cool. I never stopped to think that a Burger King or TGI Fridays would ever be a temporary base of operations for the US military. Kind of amusing when you think about it. Shooting up the Department of Justice in the helicopter was pretty crazy too.

Silent Hill - Completed first ever playthrough and scored the Good+ Ending, with massive help from my fiancee and the internet.  About to playthrough again and shoot for the UFO Ending.

Will likely dork around a bit more on my Easy File for BioShock today and mop up a few loose achievements (Weapon Specialist, Research Ph.D., I'm looking at you.)

That's really the only reason I could see it being in the game as well. Though if they had done it as a cutscene you would miss out on fighting all the coppers. Fighting in Virginia was awesome, definitely some fun places. Think my favorite ended up being the sniper levels again... well, I just really like stealth. =] 

Just finished up the game, took a few minutes over 6 hours.... which is short, but it didn't feel short so it's not so bad. I didn't find any enemy intel the whole time either. >.< And where were the juggernauts in the campaign? I don't recall coming across them at all. In Special Ops I could only kill them with the sniper riffle and I know there weren't any enemies that I specifically used that on. 

Now I need to finish up AC2, though I'm pretty sure I'm close to that.

Dragon Age -- Got the urge to play this today. Got up to Ostagar on an Elf Warrior, about to begin the siege.

I went with a dual wielding Warrior this time around. It's pretty fun, but without a shield I can't take as many hits.

There aren't any juggernauts in the campaign, only Spec Ops.

 How'd you like the final levels when * MW2 Campaign spoilers* you had to track down Gen. Shepard? I thought it was pretty awesome infiltrating the Shadow Company's base *end spoilers*

Played a little bit of Rock Band 2 earlier today. I still can't do the outro to Panic Attack without star power. In practice mode, I can do it somewhat regularly, but when I get to it in the actual song, I always fail. It's kinda annoying. Oh well.

Ah ha! So I'm not just a forgetful tard, good to know there weren't juggernauts in the campaign. XD

The last levels were fun, but there were other parts of the game I enjoyed more. I felt kinda bad though for killing the soldiers... they most likely didn't know what was really happening. Loved the knife kill you got to do at the end of the repel, wish there had been more repelling in the game. **It was pretty awesome when you had to pull the knife outta your gut to kill Shepard.... and that bastard killed Ghost and Roach. **

It's hard to pick a favorite part of the game... I really liked the whole bit through the prison, loved the end when you were going through the scrapyard, then there were the sniping parts which are always grand, running through the little town in the beggining to get to the choppa.... there were just many great moments. @_@

Just beat Mass Effect 2. Everyone survived. Now to play again and see their deaths

Also, I'm kind of regretting giving the **SPOILER** Illusive Man the base....hopefully my character doesn't regret it in ME3...

ME3 can't come soon enough. Probably will have to wait til the next Xbox. Perhaps a launch title?

Super Paper Mario: Currently in Chapter 7-4 and at level 18, I believe. I managed to beat Flipside's Pit of 100 Trials after about four tries, so I'm definitely going to put off having to beat Flopside's Pit twice for as long as I can. For now I'm gathering some cash to purchase more treasure maps so I can have more things to do before finishing the game—which will probably end in the next chapter...

fullmetalinsomniac: Yes, you can save Virtual Console and WiiWare games to SD cards, but the games themselves are tied to the Wii they were originally downloaded on. As for getting your games back if your system goes kaput, I have no idea how/if you can do that...

I think I remember them saying that the series will finish during this console cycle.

Assassin's Creed 2: Did do some feather hunting, up to 71, but after I found #71 they dried up real quick and I soon lost morale. Probably won't be doing any more for a while.

Yeah, Bioware has said that they are fast-tracking ME3 to release it a lot sooner than ME2 was after ME1.
