have fun! i won't be going to see russian circles tonight. got my son's progress report today. not that it was really bad, he got 2 a's, 1 b and 1 c, but he lied to me about doing all of his work and his computer teacher says he talks excessively in class and doesn't listen. sooooo yea, no russian circles tonight. oh well. maybe next time.

I think I'm going to go to Visqueen's final concert two Saturdays from now, and Broadcast Orbital is opening for them! Also the venue is kind of fancy, at least given the $10 ticket price, so that's cool. So yeah, nice venue, two good bands that I'll likely never get a chance to see again... Good times.

So I went and saw Touche Amore, La Dispute, Pianos Become the Teeth and Seahaven on Sunday. I'm thinking about seeing Touche Amore and Seahaven again next month. Not sure yet.

they're playing with cracker at world cafe live on jan 13th.

i never cared for cracker, but i didn't realize that david lowery is the singer for both bands. kinda pricey, but i would like to see camper at least once in my lifetime.

tonight i am taking my son to see this will destroy you. he's 14 and this will be his first show. this morning my daughter asked me if i would take her to see converge in april. she's 13. how could i say no? we're so going!

My first show had Converge in it, too! It also had a bunch of other bands, but still, nice choice for a first concert.

I'm going to go see The Lonely Forest in March apparently. My mom thought it'd be fun bonding, and I was like, "Well OK." But it should be fun. And I'm going to see Group Love and Young The Giant in April, which will be amazing!

just bought tickets for converge. i can't wait. my daughter is pretty excited. i almost forgot about the show and she asked me if we were still going the other day. i do that a lot. i hear about shows, say i'm going, then forget. i've actually done that for shows i bought tickets for. XD

of course, his on-and-off Sabbath thing since the "Reunion" album is breaking my balls a bit and all 4 have lost face with me over it. . . it's not as if they have 50 years more left in them, why don't they do the simplest thing they can do and just tour as Sabbath

I thought they were gonna make a new original line up album, so I dunno why the fυck Ozzy is coming "with his friends" instead of Tony, Geezer and Bill. . . >______>

so, the converge show is on friday night. i'm pretty excited. birds in row, git some, pianos become the teeth, and loma prieta are also playing. not bad for $15. gotta make sure we get there early enough to get a good spot. this will be my 13 year old daughter's first show. i want her to be able to see the bands playing, but be close enough to the stage to have fun. XD

I saw Red Krayola at a museum over the weekend.
As well as Shabazz Palaces.
Both were really awesome.

On thursday I saw Overkill and Suidakra. Was awesome.

Then on friday I saw Cannibal Corpse and Exhumed. Also awesome.

My ears are gonna be ringing for so long. (I need to remember to bring ear plugs)
