Yeah, they are a little old. But they are still pretty good.

I consider metalcore stuff like ADTR, SIlverstien, Escape the Fate, Falling in Reverse.

I think the term metalcore is just swung around way too much by devout metalheads who stick to one to three genres and never branch off from there.

I listen to a lot of different music. A lot of it is metal but the metalcore thing is so overused.

A lot of the people who throw it around have no idea what it actually means/is.

I know cookiejar knows though. Or at least has a pretty good idea. He seems to anyway, from conversations I've had with him

Groove metal, metalcore, whatever.

They rely on breakdowns, sound generic, and so much metal these days is metalcore influenced that I have trouble finding the difference between a lot of bands.

I just don't really care for them.
