Ozzy was coming in Greece this summer "with friends" (...) but now I saw a new poster and it says "Black Sabbath" is coming
so unless there's some ugly shenanigans involved I'm hoping they came to an agreement with Bill and they play all together again

I don't know if the Greece gig is one of the special gigs (like the Download festival), but last I heard Sabbath were only playing a few dates, and the rest of the planned tour was going to be Ozzy and Friends.

Not yet. There's actually been a lot of drama lately between Bill and the rest of Sabbath, with Bill saying he was not offered a "signable contract." The rest of the band says the door is always open for him to rejoin, but it's looking less and less likely with each passing day that that will happen.

I wish all 4 of them would realize that they don't have time for all this drama

Yes. ![]()
BTW, this is probly as good a place to mention it as any, since you posted in one of my recent rec. threads.
I think I know now what must have subconciously influenced me to wanto hear NWOBHM with "mellow" melodic solos, and it's because I listened to it about 10 times a couple days ago:

I remember thinking "solo is totz Maiden-y, bro" when I heard it. No ####. And, since hearing that again, I realized I was totally looking for a band with loads of soloing that sounds EXACTLY like that. I am such a #### nerd...
Either way, solo was righteous, but way too short...

And yes DTE energy is a really stupid name for a concert theater.
Back on subject, why does Judas Priest/Iron Maiden still perform better than any of the bands from the Big 4?
sorry I'm in Europe and all, what classification is this "Big 4"?

He's probably talking about the big 4 of thrash (Metallica, Slayer, Anthrax, and Megadeth).
