did you read what they said about it? they did cite some examples like will i. am's "yes we can" and the thing with ludacris. still seems like a bit of a reach to me, but whatever. maybe they felt that there weren't any real stories since no one was murdered or tried to use hip hop as a scapegoat.

There is something else about the list I don't get.  Killer Mike gets album of the year but Nas gets Emcee of the year and neither one was a runner up in the other's category.  It's like winning for Best Picture but not Best Director.  WTF, smilez, wtf?

i didn't get it either. hell, not one person is a runner-up in both categories. i would expect some overlap. maybe they really just wanted to honor an assload of people. there isn't even any overlap with emcee of the year and mixtape of the year, so that's the only conclusion that i can reach.

Dragon-Someone told me that the plot for the third bleach movie is gonna be that everyone in Soul Society will lose their memories with the exception of Rukia & Ichigo. So everybody will be gunning for them in the movie.

I've been on the fence about it since I've heard of it but I guess it's under consideration now that I've seen a preview for it. I don't know. I probably won't watch it until it hits DVD.

And about the Spongebob thing, I thought you were going to say me when you said Squidward was hating. I guess I'm losing my edge or something.

See I kinda wanna see it but like comrade of mine said the potential for some ignorant sh** to jump off going to see that movie is high. So he said if he were to go see it. It would more than likely a chalky movie theatre. Personally I said you could see it at times were those type of people won't be in the movie theatre. I might just wait for it come out on DVD or On Demand.

I'm with you on that.  I don't see myself going to theaters to see it but I may catch it on DVD at some point.  Not because I necessarily think the movie will be bad but I can't say I'm excited/curious about it.  Possibly because I feel like I already know the story.
