I also play some jazz music myself with the school jazz ensemble (alto and baritone saxaphone).

Would Yoko Kanno be considered as a Jazz musician? I don't know is she plays an instrument or if she just makes the music but I love her music.

I'm not sure about whether or not she plays an instrument or anything, but, as a composer, she doesn't seem to prefer one kind of music over another, really. Bebop alone has a pretty broad assortment of musical styles. but, yes, quite a few of her compositions are jazz or at least jazzy. the first Bebop OST is primarily jazz.

Did you listen to the samples on the site? The Bebop movie soundtrack has some amazing music in it. I'm glad I'll get to see it again on [as] soon.

basically, I go through manuscripts and fix the author's screw-ups. grammar, punctuation, syntax, spelling, etc.
