What's your favorite concert/concert moment?

It could be an entire show, but even better, what was one moment of a show that sticks with you to this very day. You know, that one moment that you keep telling your friends about and now they're starting to get annoyed with the story so you feel as though you need to find new people to tell it to? Yeah, that one.

For me, it was during Against Me!'s set at Best Friends day last August. Now I have lost all faith in the band ever since they signed to a major label and put out two equally boring radio-rock albums, but they were the band I grew up with in middle school through high school, so I had to go and see them. Besides a couple of their newer hits (which gave the crowd a nice break to rest), they #### killed it.

The best moment for me was getting up on stage, running behind James (which, by his facial expressions, he did not enjoy [but fuuuuuudge him]), and then stage diving off into a bunch of crusty punks (and more than a few hipsters). What could have made it better? Well, for one, a picture was taken of me stage diving and used on the RVA website which was covering BFD. Also, theres a video of the entire set on youtube.

One of the best sets I've seen live, and one of the best times of my life.

So I ask you, my fellow ASMB music lovers, what was that one concert moment that will stick with you for life?

Nothing is more punk than being self-determined and respecting the self-determination of others.

Listening to everyone in Boston chant along to Tool, "I'll. Keep. Digging. Til. I. Feel. Something." was seriously impressive, as it was over the music, even.
But my #1 was Rush in Ottawa, Canada. Never had I sen that much energy- and especially for Rush. The crowd was wild and I had 7th row. (4th for Tool just for comparisons sake) Never thought in my life I'd see people trying to take fences down to get into a Rush show. They were both insane and I'll never forget either.

Come on, it's all just sarcasm. All of it! !

Well, I can't match that....but I do remember watching elton john storm off stage like a little #### because his sustain pedal on his piano broke, and billy joel was just sitting there wondering what to do for a second, then turns to the audience and yells "Well ain't that a classic rock and roll fuuuuuudge up".  He proceeded to play his solo show without elton.

neurosis playing at abc-no-rio right after the word as law came out in sweltering july heat. they played "blisters" last and it was like a religious experience.

Zola Jes*s jumped down into the crowd and started dancing.

fugazi in like... i dunno... 89 i think. it was at a really small venue [the sonic temple] and there were about 200 people there. the entire show was just... amazing, but during waiting room the whole place was singing at the top of their lungs. the windows shook from the sound. it was awesome.

fugazi was one of my top 5 moments, too....

it was at a semi-outdoor show at sloss furnace (an old iron refinery). same thing happened, but for bad mouth.
