Yeah, he's right. Batou totally broke my jaw, slit my throat and threw me to the ground and unleashed two full clips on me. Funny thing is, I wasn't even checking the Major out, I was eyeing up one of the Tachikomas. Uhhh. Terrible, terrible day. =(

And the only true justice was to let those dominant jackals feed on you. Survive off you..."

Batou's a beast, but what else did you expect from a ranger?

I'm wondering if I should attend Sakura Con next year. Richard Epcar will be there. I wonder how everyone would react to see Batou meet Batou?

Yeah I plan on attending the next Sakura Con...it looks really fun, but I can't decide who to dress up as. I thought Batou but I don't think I can buff up in time lol.

Also, Batou seems like a great Drinking buddy, like the kinda guy who would be a kick to go bar hopping with lol

I have dwelt ever in realms apart from the visible world; spending my youth and adolescence in ancient and little-known books, and in roaming the fields and groves of the region near my ancestral home. I do not think that what I read in these books or saw in these fields and groves was exactly what other boys read and saw there; but of this I must say little, since detailed speech would but confirm those cruel slanders upon my intellect which I sometimes overhear from the whispers of the stealthy attendants around me.

I'm probably repeating myself for the umpteenth time, but it's established in the original manga that the Major is bisexual. We see her a few times in the series hanging out with a few female friends who...um...seem to be a bit closer than "friends." :smileytongue:

I've always received the impression that by moving more and more beyond normal human bodies (i.e., the prosthetics, the brain linked into the net, etc.), Motoko is sort of moving beyond the conventional "human" boundaries. There are instances of her involvement with both men and women (in the manga, as you said), but she also basically adds other minds into hers to become a new being. By then, it's basically a moot point.

See you guys at Sakura Con! I'm flying in from Wisconsin just to show off my Batou greatness! (and to visit my sister and her fiancee while I'm there.)
